The Falling Snow

The falling snow,
Drifting down, soft and slow.
Twisting, swirling, in the cold air.
White flakes float by without a single care.
How could they know that my love’s far away?
Or that I long for her each day.
Ah, the ache in my heart,
When we’re apart.
