Walks With Death, or Reaper/Reap is a sweet-hearted girl. It is her gentle soul that lead her to the life she now lives. Sometimes described as an "old soul" she can seem like she has many more years than she does. But she chosen path is not without its twists and from the harshness of handling funeral rites and being haunted by unsettled spirits, Reaper has gained independent and guarded traits that sometimes help her to overcome the crippling shyness she has always struggled with. But first and fore most she is a helpful creature with a strong stomach and a desire to heal.

She lives in a small grove of willows which provides shelter for her and several other kin should they require it. A stream runs off a side with a source of fish which her eaglehound has learned to catch on occasion. Small kills and wreathes of herbs hang from the low branches of the trees. Reaper's home isn't hard to find--she isn't hiding-- but because of both her appearance and what she is known for, she does not often seek out large groups of kin as to avoid the discomfort. Contrary to this, she has nomadic tendencies..and has a habit of hauling herself halfway across the swamp to find that "perfect/rare/only blooms in the rain" type plants.

Light walked in on a young, fairly naive, Reaper being attacked by a boar and drove the beast off. She made Reaper accept an escort back to her grove and never left. She sees Reaper as a close friend and used to be as a little sister but their relationship changed as Reaper grew up and has taken the reins of the duo. Though she is in charge, Reaper will always look to Light first for guidance.

Reaper came across Never completely by chance, she had been traveling to collect a specific herb from across the swamp and saw a pack of wolves attacking a bright light. Being the curious creature she is, Reaper had wandered over and her and Light managed to chase off the wolves when they saw what was being attacked. Light and Never hit it off quite well and he came accustomed to riding on her back as they made their way home. It was after they had brought him to the grove of willows that they realized his true potential and Reaper came to the conclusion that she could finally start her funeral rites and further her herbalist abilities like she wanted to.
