Blurred vision stared at the woman before him. His fingers ran across her ample flesh while he kept one hand over the small of her back. He pushed her closer until they were just a breath apart, their lips almost touching yet never did. The male turned his face away and instead, brought his lips close to the woman's ear. The woman's scent, so intoxicating it was that the male frown in disgust. Immediately, he was dishearten by the woman before him. Foul, putrid- how disgusting. Annoyed, the male sat back and pushed the woman away. She feel to the floor, flushed and out of breath. Her clothing open and revealing her many asset that any man would die to touch. However, for him, he felt no desire at all.
"How disgusting," he sneered at the woman who now cower back in fear, afraid that this man would hit her. "Get out of my sight. You are not worth the time." He watched as she scurried away and as the screen slid closed behind her, only then did he turned away, a tired sigh following soon after.
So unsatisfied, he felt. But why? Why did he feel as if something within him was missing- what was that missing peace? Why were there never anyone near him to give him the answer he sought?! Annoyed, Yuudai quickly left the inn he resided in and out into the busy street. Glancing about, he noted the woman from before. He scoffed as she gave him a look of contempt. He didn't care about her. He had only paid her to come to his room. He had wanted some entertainment but unfortunately, she ended up not being to his taste. Men or woman. Neither seemed to be suitable for him anymore. Nothing at all. Everything was wrong. Everyone was wrong. They should die.. die. A malicious grin slowly spread across his lips for a moment but the voice of another brought him out of his crazed daze.
Yuudai blinked, confused. What had he just been thinking? Shaking his head, he tried to clear his thought but the voice beside him was preventing him from doing so. Annoyed, he turned to the person, mouth open to make a angry remake but stop upon noticing the elderly male.
"What is it old man? I have no time for your useless babbles," he stated coldly. "If you wish to beg me for coins- then it's a pity for I have nothing to offer." He was ready for any sort of reply but that laughter- deep and croaky like that of a toad- was not something he was expecting. Annoyed he growled out at the other, "Why do you laughed?"
The old man looked up then and to see his unwavering eyes, Yuudai knew the man to be blind. "You have lost something very important to you," the man began. "You do not know what to do and you are only now, just wandering about without the slightest idea of where you should go- of what you should do. Incomplete you are without your other half."
Yuudai frown. "Your speak nonsense fool." Even though he say thus, he wonder why he moved not and instead continued to listen. The old man, he spoke on, as if not hearing the words Yuudai had just spoken.
"We loved with a love that is more than love. However, the way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost." The man grinned. "One most look back and know that the biggest regret one have when in love is that too often when in loved, one do not say so. However though, know also that love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of withering, of tarnishing." With winkles fingers, the old man reach up and place a hand upon Yuudai's own. "Look back to your past and you will know whom your heart seeks. The person has always been there beside you. A fool you are to not realize it and to allowed that person to slip away so easily." The man shook his head and he said no more. With just that, he walked away, leaving Yuudai with more questions than he had before the other appeared. Confused he was, and he just didn't understand what the man was getting at. He tried to call the other back but the man was nowhere in sight. He cursed, now more annoyed than ever.
What did he mean that what I seek has always been right beside me? If that was true, why do I feel so empty still?! Slip away? Who? Who did I let slip away? Pinching the bridge of his nose, he closed his eyes and tried to remember all that he had lost. He gasp thought when lavender whisked across his closed vision. Yuuto?! Wait. No. Someone else. As he focused upon that vision, Yuudai could feel tears welling up in his eyes. He could feel them trailing down his face, over his lips. He could taste how salty they were. Oh how long has it been since he last shed a tear? Seeing the face so clearly in his vision compelled him to do so and somehow, he felt the heaviness of his heart lifting. He opened his eyes and they appeared clearer than they had ever been before. Why did he feel so? Was it that man's word? Maybe- he didn't know, all he knew was that there was someone he needed to find. There was someone he needed to see.
