I'm posting the sketches because I'm thinking of redoing all of them digitally. The basic premise of this series was using ancient Greek/Mediterranean monsters to represent the shortcomings of the 7 churches of Revelation. So far, I've only had inspiration for 3 out of 7 churches. I'd like to do at least one more, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them. Anyway, here are the 3 I have. I guess I want to know if they look...right. I know I have some touch-up work to do on the succubus to keep her face looking Greek (instead of Irish like it does now) but poses, animalistic body parts, over-all concept...what do you think?

curses! I wish I weren't missing my Bibles, cause then I could have some suggestions....

anywho, Succubi always struck me as having those tempting exotic givaways telling of their demonic nature, such as wings, fangs, short horns, a tail, or a reddish tint to the skin. also, unnaturally coloured eyes. =w=

I also suggest a background for her, some kind of mood-setter, like curtains or tapestries, or even candles or smoke. Succubi function best when they can drown their victims' common senses with alluring distractions. sights,sounds and smells can weaken resolve easily, and it's the hallmark of a successful soul-harvest.

bah! I've been having too much fun with supernatural villains. xd
