Adriana Valentina "If you do a crime....
Then you have to suffer the consequences."  Adriana nodded before standing up to see what the cops were doing only to shove the druggie into a cop car which made her feel a bit safer. She let out a deep sigh to look around knowing she might have to go home and get ready for work. Her ears perked when she heard him talking on the phone hoping everything was alright for him.

 Alexis blinked as he closed the phone. "Didn't expect for that first album to sell out of a hundred eighty thousand copies in less a week," he said wryly. He stood slowly, making sure most of the aftereffects of the migraine were gone, and fortunately, while he was still sore as heck and had a headache, they were gone. "You know, that offer to visit the video set is still open," he said thoughtfully.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana looked at him and smiled, "Well that's good." she said. She looked over Alexis to make sure he was alright from before hoping he would get whatever he had before checked out by a doctor. "If I go will you go to a doctor to see whats wrong?" she asked him.

Alexis sighed. "That's fine with me..." he said quietly. He wasn't going to tell her he knew exactly what was wrong; his grandfather had hit him across the face with his oak cane for 'backtalking' when he was six and knocked him down a flight of stairs. The blow had loosened two teeth, cracked his jaw, and left him unconscious for three days. Ever since then, he'd had the migraines, roughly twice a week, three if he really pushed himself with his work and music.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana knew he should make sure to get it healed whatever he had since it would only be the death of him sooner or later. She hoped that he would be alright since he was kind and nice enough to knock her off her feet to save her from a rolling car.

Alexis shifted as he glanced at the policewoman. "I'm fairly sure I know what happened, though I can't be sure; when I was six, my grandfather... hit me across the face with a solid oak cane, loosening two teeth and cracking my jaw... I'm fairly sure it left me with a concussion, though that likely came from falling down the stairs," he said quietly. He knew his grandfather couldn't be brought up on charges as he had passed away several years before.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana looked at him when he told her what his grandfather had done to him. "Even if you know that happened you should see if you can do anything to make sure it gets better. It could also be a traumatic thing to you that someone did that," she said to him. She had seen child abusers before and usually it left not only a physical scar but an emotional one as well.

Alexis shrugged. "Probably, though considering some of the things I've had to struggle through.. I probably got off light when it comes to physical or emotional scars," he said with a slight shrug. He wasn't so sure about the mental scars, though.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana looked at him but wished he would go see a doctor just to see about his migraines and the pain he endures. "Well you might have but it's still best if you go," she said to him.

Alexis tilted his head. "Unfortunately my ride is on the other side of the city near the bridge where they're filming the music video; I enjoy walking around when I can, though it isn't helpful to have the migraine when I'm walking," he said with a slight shrug.

Alexis sighed sheepishly. "That would help... considering I'm not sure where the hospital in this city is," he said wryly. He was embarrassed he didn't know the city he'd grown up in that well at all after he'd moved away, though in the five years he'd been gone, much had changed.

Alexis tilted his head. "I remember most of the city... what's risen in the past several years, however, is all new to me, including the hospital, which unless I'm mistaken has only been around for a couple of years," he said idly. He was sure it would peak the woman's curiosity as to what he meant.
