Soran looked down then rubbed the back of his head with a smile.

Coraline locked up the ice cream store and started to head home. She put her hands in her coat pocket while sighing.

"Oh..." Angel said softly a tad bit of dissapointment flashed in her eyes as her smile sliped for a second. Then she brightned up, and waved the paper. "I'm a highly forgetable person... If you need anything, just yell... I'm sure I'll hear you or somebody will!" Angeled nodded a bye and turned to go back to her apartment.


James glanced at the door and sighed as he set doen the car part. "Angel is taking forever... I'm starting to wonder if I should go and look for her...." He puased and thought for a minute. "She's a smart girl, she'll be fine... "

Reece knocked quietly on Dayna's door. "Dayna?" She opened the door to a crack. "Are you ok?"
Dayna's face was streaked with tears. She shook her head.
Reece sighed sadly. "Come here." She said, walking over to the bed. "He didnt mean to scare you..." She said quietly.
"He said it just like Damian did... I mean, it was Asher's voice and I know he was just trying to cheer me up.. But the way he said it just-"
"We always used to sing your name like that. Remember? All of us, your family. Even our teachers. Literally everyone would sing your name like that. You cant just single out Asher."
Dayna sniffled. "Ya.. Im sorry." She mumbled. "I just... No one has said it like that since..." She trailed off, not mentioning her parents. "No one but Asher."
Reece hugged her. "He really does care. He means well. I wouldnt let him near you if he was gonna be an a** about it."
Dayna laughed once.. Reece was good at cheering her up. "Thank you, Reece."
She smiled. "No problem, Day-na." Reece tucked her in, pulling the blankets over her shoulders. "I'll stay here til you fall asleep."
Dayna laughed. "Motherly love." She turned to the window. She heard Reece chuckle quietly before she fell asleep.
