Kaisen's Byakugan had seen Zatoshi ages ago. Not only was Kaisen of higher rank, but the Bounty Hunter class meant that Zatoshi was not as undetectable as a normal assassin. With a scoff, Kaisen realized that he was already dead. So, he died.

Zatoshi DID NOT die, he left unscathed, they were both of the same rank and Zatoshi was just as silent as a normal assassin, he left the area and dispersed into multiple sheets of paper, the only thing that probably let Kaisen know he was there was the byakugan and only the byakugan, nothing else, Zatoshi's sheets of paper rode the wind and went back to Ame.

(I was talking about Kaisen dying, who was a Jounin. Smart one. XD

EDIT: And what I said about the Assassin section of the Bounty Hunter class is correct. You are more easily detected than a normal assassin.)
