What is Roleplaying?

Roleplaying is where you pretend or become a character, from a movie, book, anime, or simply from you imagination. This can be a 1x1 or a group Rp. (Rp is the abbriviation of Roleplay) A 1x1 is a Rp between you and one other person. A group rp has more then two people in, but the amount of people depends on who created the Rp.

Types of Literacy

Types of literacy can be described as non-literate, Semi-literate, Literate, and Advanced. Non-literate people do not use correct grammer, coding, and usually post One liners. One liners are posts consisting or one or a few very short sentences, that usually give little for someone to reply to. Semi-literate people usually check their grammar, expeiriment with coding, and typically post a well written paragraph or two. Literate people use correct grammar, coding, and post at least two well written paragraphs. Advanced posters, post two to three well written paragraphs, use coding, correct grammer, and usually have amazing posts, that almost flow like a story.

How to Improve

If you want to improve , the first thing you need to do is realize what level or literacy you have. Its hard to improve if you dont know what to improve on. Check your grammer and spelling, and try to use coding. Expeiriemt, try to post more then you usually do. Practice, practice, practice.

God Modding

God Modding will get you banned from most guilds and Rps. Its when your character(s) have more power then any other character. Or when your character(s) are good at everything they do, regardless of how hard or easy the task is. This is very rude, and makes it hard for others to Rp with you since they may seem weaker or a lesser character. This is a good way to create enemies, and too have it where no one will rp with you. If you realize you are doing this, apoligize and correct your posts, and watch what you post from then on.

Mary Sues

Mary Sues are best described as those characters that are over used. This qualifies as name or characters themselves. If your character is named Bob, you may need to think of a creative last name. But 'John Doe' is an overused name, and is not original. Its just best to use your own mind to come up with names, instead of borrowing them from a tv show or book, unless your Rp is based on a book or tv show.
