Miya smiled as Rob talked. 'Oh, I see. Then you're probably a good singer.' She smiled. She'd like to ask him to sing for her, but then he'd probably ask the same and she didn't want to. She didn't want the boy to know she wasn't from earth just yet. Miya smiled at Rob's other comment, did he mean she was pretty? Did he say that to every new girl, or was it normal to be called pretty? She didn't know.
Miya looked at Rob as he handed over the flower. Without thinking she took it from him. She thought it was really nice of him, she loved the color of this flower. Color.. Miya looked down at the flower and instantly dropped it. The flower, now lying on the ground was now bigger. Aside from that, it was black. Miya glanced at Rob, then back at the flower. She must've unconsciously used her power. She felt so stupid, normally she could control it well enough. Miya didn't know if Rob already saw it, so she stepped on the flower. It was too bad because it was really pretty.

Rob watched as the carnation shifted, hiding his shock as it grew and turned black. He shook it off, not wanting to worry Miya, "Must've been a bad one." He cut another off, "Let's get you to class. Wouldn't want you to be late." He handed her the flower, leading her away from the black one. As they walked down the halls, there were whisperings of special treatment of the new girl. He stopped at a locker, "315. This one is yours." He pulled a lock out of his pocket, "School was too cheap to put locks on these damn things, so you can have this lock." He handed her the key for it, smiling.
As Rob let Miya put her stuff in her locker, one of Rob's kendo club teammates walked up, "Hey Rob, this the new girl?" Rob nodded, "Hey Jevan. This is Miya. Miya this is Jevan. Jevan and his girlfriend Amy are on the kendo team with me." Jevan held out a hand, smiling, "Hi, word of advice, watch out for the 'Cronasi Fan Club'. Those girls are skanks to anyone who gets close to this guy." Rob shook his head, "Trash... Those girls don't get it, I'm nobody special."
A laugh escaped Jevan's mouth, "Nobody special. Captain of both the Boxing and Kendo teams, and son of Lily Rae Cronasi? Not to mention a-" Rob covered his mouth, "Enough Jevan. Not Everyone wants to her my story. Namely me." Jevan nodded, "Aight, just came by to let you know kendo is canceled tonight, repainting the gym again." Rob nodded, Jevan walking off as Rob waved. Rob looked back at Miya, "Sorry about that. He's like my unofficial biographer, telling everyone things I don't want heard."(It's a little long, but hope you like,)

Miya smiled and took the lock from Rob. She tried attaching it to her locker as she suddenly realized someone joined the conversation. Miya quickly stood up and nodded at the boy. She took the hand the boy, Jevan apparently, offered, and listened to what he had to say. She looked at Rob as he noticed a fan group. She didn't want to get into trouble, but with that, this boy was just leading her around right?
Suddenly Rob covered Jevan's mouth. Miya was a bit surprised, but she kept quiet. Shanna didn't know who that Lily person was, but it seemed like she had to know. Miya nodded at Rob as Jevan walked off. 'I understand what you mean.' She said honestly. 'And I don't know who Lily.. Lily.. Eh.. Lily is.' She said sheepishly as she had forgotten the middle name. 'But don't mind that really.' She said, smiling.
