Easy Fruit Parfait
This is my breakfast substitute for cereal
Mix the following: 1 cup of your favorite granola cereal, just make sure it doesn't have corn flakes enough vanilla yogurt to make the granola as wet as you like
Then add about 1/2 cup assorted berries and/or bananas
Berry Suggestions: strawberries blackberries raspberries blueberries
For the yogurt, do not buy an individual serving cup of yogurt. Instead use a larger tub of vanilla yogurt. It is cheaper and easier to mix with the granola.

Everything is in motion. Everything flows. Everything is vibrating. Is there a substitute for the non-yogurt eaters like myself?

You could probably use cream or half and half, possibly combined with a little milk to keep it from becoming too much of a dessert. I looked it up and it seems some parfaits are made with puddings and custards but they normally are made with graham crackers not granola. The non yogurt parfaits sound more like desserts than breakfast. Fresh chopped berries added to a bowl of granola cereal with milk might work for you. It's definitely much better than the dehydrated fruit that normally comes with a box of cereal.

Everything is in motion. Everything flows. Everything is vibrating. Sounds delicious. Thanks to both of you ladies. (: I think I've got me some better breakfast options.

What about cottage cheese? It goes great with fruit and is a healthy alternative to yoghurt.

Cottage cheese doesn't sound bad, but yogurt or milk and creme would be better.

I hate sweet yogurt. I like cucumber yogurt! IT tastes like a creamed vegi! I also had a salmon yogurt once it was amazing but a bit much.
