I am twenty six
My Story
Most of my history is known, or at least that of my kingdom. Personally, I was a spoiled child, given what I wanted and needed. My parents busy with ruling a kingdom, I was passed from person to person until I became of age to take care of myself. For me, that was at the age of ten. I thought I was all grown up, and began to take all that I wanted. Every now and again I'd be chastised for how I acted, but it never stuck and my parents were once again distracted by things far bigger than their misbehaving son.

So is it really any surprise that when I saw a woman I wanted, I took her. I'll leave out the details, because that would force me to evaluate my complete lack of intelligence at the time. Someone willing to give me anything I wanted, should have been a huge heads up that something was about to happen. But it didn't. And I was captured and imprisoned for years with little to do but think, and watch. And plot. I'm not even sure why I was still alive, I was of little use. A spoiled prince with less knowledge about the world than a newborn cub.

That changed one night after a long conversation with a guard. He'd been drinking on the job and it wasn't long before my charm, as rusty as it was, convince him to let me stretch my legs under the night sky. I wish I could have seen the look on his face as I darted across the lawn. I really don't know what was going through my mind as I took off, hearing the call to the other guards, but I had only one destination in mind. To find my betrothed, marry her, and get my kingdom back by whatever means necessary.
