Evan shrugged. "If I get a bed for the night I'm content" He said as he put his hands in his pockets. He was trying to calm himself down. Then he went to his thoughts. Mainly the thoughts were about his family. He barely remembered any of his family members faces...and that bothered him. But he quit thinking about that though knowing he had to keep himself on a good mood. Because he did not want to be what his family was. And he reminded himself that every morning. "So...." He said trying to think of something to talk about.

Kayla smiled at him and nodded, "And did you really think I would go on a job unprepared?" she asked him. She kept walking as she thought to herself about her father and mother and how much she missed them at the moment. She shook her head trying to concentrate at the task at hand. "Plus with you helping me you get a lot more money," she said to him

Evan shrugged. "Just making sure" He said as he began to think if she ever didnt come prepared. He couldnt think of any time, but it would come eventually! He shook his head. "It better be something more substantial! Last time I got nothing!" He exclaimed. The last job he had was probably about enough money to live for a week. Then he was couch hopping again....

Kayla puffed her cheeks looking a bit ticked off that he would say that. She had always been prepared but some of the places they had stayed at weren't really the best but she was trying to make sure they had enough money for food and anything else they needed. "It will be!" she shouted at him. She let out a sigh continuing to walk thinking about all the other times.

Evan saw her cheeks and he shook his head. He was horrible with words so he stayed quiet. "so how long till we get there?" He asked looking around. He was obviously bored and had no idea what to do to pass the time. He glanced at Kayla here and there wondering what she was thinking, he always wondered what she thought. It was just something he was hoping to find out one day.

[Sorry for not posting. I've been thinking of what to put.]
Kayla and Evan had reached where the parents believed the kidnapped child was. All she saw was an old house about ready to collapse on its own making her a bit worried about it. "Don't be rough," she said. She had gestured to the house knowing if he banged the guys around in the house it may only helped to bring it down on them faster.

Evan saw the house as they came up on it. His grip tightened on his revolver instantly.If it were his choice he would just walk in and shoot the guy. But he heard Kayla's instructions and he nodded slowly. "You lead so I wont shoot the guy" He said taking his grip off his gun. He needed to keep a cool head and if not things were going to get bad.

Kayla looked at him and nodded as she took her own gun out to be prepared for the worst that would happen. If the guys did anything she would have to put a bullet through them as much as she didn't want too. She approached the door to open it to the child there out in the open alive and afraid. Something just didn't seem right to her, she walked in to get to the child and take them out of the house them seemed to want to collapse.
