[EXAM] Savages Survival [Group 3]

She was getting close, or at least Belladonna thought she was. It seemed like the opposite end of the classroom was inching its way toward her, though it felt like it was taking forever. This all seemed to be going pretty decently... Belladonna was afraid that she was going to be tested on her skills rather than her luck. Granted, her luck wasn't in the best shape, but it was definitely better than the few skills she possessed. Sewing didn't really come in handy during a fight... Not until she allied with a zombie... Did she know any zombies? Probably, but she was so out of society she couldn't remember. Weird...

OK. Belladonna was DEFINITELY closer to the edge now! She could almost reach out and touch it if she wasn't so tiny all over. Well, almost all over.
Regardless, it was getting close and any minute now she'd be over there and be done with her exam. Then she'd be Year Two. Then she could get closer to Year Three and graduation!
What new things did Year Two hold? What was left of this exam? Was there something else besides just a sled ride across lava?? Maybe this wasn't it!

Belladonna narrowed her eyes and took a deep breath, tensing for what could come next.

"Oh Hecate..."

The witch took a deep breath and sat up straight as her little sled edged its way through the lava, about to bump into the edge. This would be the trickiest bit because if she didn't angle it right she could slid off into the lava and the whole process would have been a waste of time. But at the same time, if she jumped too early (because there was no way Belladonna was just going to sit on the little sled and wait until she bumped into the ledge; That way lay danger!) she might not make it to the edge and that would be just embarrassing.

And just as she was about to consider it a moment more, some strange muscle twitch took over and Belladonna lept from the sled to land ever so daintily on the other edge, safe and sound. Quickly, she swung around to look at the expanse of lava that separated her from her other classmates and Savage, but it wasn't until she looked down and watched her sled melt before it sunk it.

"I PASSED!! OH HECATE, I PASSED!" Little fists punched the air and the witch could not contain her excitement as she jumped up and down, tottering near the edge for a moment before she ran backwards away from it. No use falling in now after she had managed to successfully make it across the pit. But still, even that couldn't temper the witch's glee as she continued to dance on her toes in the only way possible to express her contentment.

Holly noticed that all of the other students had finally started this crazy exam as well. They all seemed to have quite different tactics from another. Somehow they all speed past her but the ghoul decided to keep up her slow pace. Well, however slow you could go on an ice sled going down a ramp of lava. Was this really happening?

She chuckled as most of the students bit the dust, or lava. They were all okay right? The ghoul was glad to notice they were okay, shame to die during an exam. Seriously, this school. Holly kept her eyes out for any more trouble.

Good. Still going good. Others seemed to be dying but Holly managed to not die yet. Not like she could right? That sent a flash back to that Jack forsaken island and she shuddered. Almost lost control of that sled there.

Holly brought her attention back to not dying. Yep, just keep thinking about that. It did seem one student managed to get to the end, she would too darn it!

So far, still good. Everyone else seemed to be done but Holly was still going. Slow and steady right? She didn't want to jinx herself but she was still going strong.

The sled glided around a bump. Seemed easy but she still wasn't home free. No not yet.

For some reason she felt like it was almost over. The end of this lava ramp thing was near. It was so close. Holly risked waving a hand at the other ghoul that had made it to the end. Would her last leg be this successful?

The end was near. The end was here. Some how Holly had only hit one bump the entire time. Okay, well she had spun about which was her fault but hey!

The sled slid to a halt as she came to land. Land sweet land! Holly jumped off the sled as quick as she could. Sleds were now added to her list of things she disliked, up there with boats.

Holly offered a high-five to Belladonna, the other she noticed to make it though. "Wasn't that bad! There aren't any surprises, right?" She hoped to Jack there weren't.

The exam was over

Savage looked pleased that at least two of the students that took her exam passed. Both ghouls too. The class room slowly turned back to its original leaky self. Savage put her hand on her hip and extended her hand out to Holly and Belladonna.

"CONGRATULATIONS YOU PASS." Savage opened her palm to reveal two pins. One for Holly and one for Belladonna. "Its a great honor to have a teacher pin you know."

She turned her head to Sarias, Mac and Seiji and frowned.

"You three FAILED. But you still go on to year two. Go wash your sorry jack selves off and be more prepared next time. Go on. Get." She would have shooed them but her hand was full with pins. Instead, Trollapus was there holding the door opened for the three failed students.
