This is where Scaramouche Fandango's quests will go. Right now, my main focus is on Slake, though other quests will probably come eventually.

I hope the staff doesn't mind that I put this here. Basically, these are just pets that I want to get eventually and need a place to keep the reference images and descriptions.

Slake

There was a pool and in it did she stand,
And he did too, mere shadows in the air.
Her mouth was dry, each tooth a cotton bud,
The rasping of her tongue too harsh to bear.

She bent her head; the water's surface ran
Pouring through cracks, the water swiftly drained.
But once the doe looked up in confused fright,
The pool filled once again with falling rain.

Three times the doe did drop her head to drink;
Three times the water danced far from her lips.
The ground was slick with mud of water past;
And to her knees eventu'lly she slipped.

The rain returned- she was too weak to rise
Her overpow'ring thirst led her to die.
Her soul stayed, standing naked in the rain
As water fell, she heard her spirit cry.

But then she felt the most curious thing,
Her body rose, returned to mortal life.
She raised her lips to meet the sodden clouds
Cool rainfall slaked her thirst with soaken knife.

As she woke to dawn, thirsty yet again,
She recalled the reason why she had died.
Though always on yourself you can rely,
In some cases, you let the swamp provide.

Slake is a doe, sister to Quell or possibly a more distant relative. The two are very close and are very good friends; regardless of their actual relation, they are typically taken as siblings. They look a lot alike, though Slake's pelt is less-saturated and lighter. I'd like their eyes to be the same colour, though this isn't integral to her design.

Sable
Sable hasn't had his dream yet, but when he does, it'll be a good one.

Sable is a buck with long, backwards-arcing horns. He's based on a sable antelope.

Color and markings: Just like a male sable antelope
Edits: Long horns, stiff, mo-hawky mane, cloven hooves, maybe a shorter tail?

Hm. Maybe I should just get him as an acha. I mean, they're basically oryxes, and that's closer to a sable morphologically speaking.
