Character Name: Tobias Gingerback

Age: 13

Physical appearance: Tobias is a small child, roughly 4’7” who inherited the characteristic silver hair from his father. His eyes are an unusually bright blue color, shining with the optimism and innocence that is solely the domain of the young. Slender, Tobias spent many of his days cooped up inside his father’s tower, thus missing out on the tanning ritual of his father. He wears a small medallion around his neck, strange runic imprints surrounding the symbols 重力 (gravity). This amulet is said to contain the power to defend Tobias in an emergency, but this rumor was started by Alex himself so this theory needs to be debunked first. Tobias wears a monochrome outfit, having a jacket with pure black on the right and white on the left over opposite jeans. This outfit was, as Alex says, “The little runt’s first business deal between the light and dark worlds”. There is a single small earring in his right ear, jet black as well. Tobias also wears no shoes.

Personality: Still in the kingdom of youth, Tobias is still a bit reckless, naive, and foolhardy. But on the other hand, he still has much trust in a world that has not been kind to him and his father. Still, one could find no better ally in times of need. Tobias still has little sense of good or evil, with the obvious exception of pure light and dark creatures. This leaves him quite susceptible to manipulation by those he may come to trust. Due to being secluded in a palace for so long, Tobias still can hardly fend for himself, as he has had most of what he has handed over to him on a silver platter. He is particularly distracted by expensive trinkets and rare foods. Tobias has a strange fear of shoes, a fear that he cannot talk about the roots of no matter what.

Occupation: Tobias is the son of Alexander Gingerback, one of the few successful people to actually be a merchant between all three planes. Tobias was also trained to be a mercenary in case the trading game failed, though most of his training has been toward being a merchant. Other than that he has proven himself a decent musician, playing mostly harp and pianos that were brought in from other lands.

Biography: Born nearly two years after the fall of Origin, his father began rebuilding all that had been lost in the wars. His mother unknown, whom supposedly died in childbirth, asked only one question of Alex. “What will you do with the boy?” Alex thought long and hard, contemplating all that had happened. Though all signs of origin had disappeared, leaving only Flux and Creed to fill the gap, there was still unsettling signs on the horizon. “I will train the boy in the arts of peace” said Alex, “but prepare him for war”. Thus the two men disappeared for seven years, Alex leaving his affairs for Itazuki and Calypso to deal with. When the two returned, Alex slowly handed over control of parts of the company to Tobias, allowing the young man to feel what it is like to have power. Over the next six years Tobias secretly trained in the deadly arts while learning a great many business tactics. Now Alex has deemed the young lad ready to go out into the proper world and make a true name for himself.

Weapons: (for each weapon fill out the form)
Weapon: Aquarius gauntlets
Number of points: 30
Element: Water
Description: It appears to be a pair of gauntlets made out of a strange blue metal that, when activated, calls to and absorbs any amount of nearby water. Naturally, in desert environments this is handicapped, but Tobias works around this by carrying around a couple small water skins filled to the brim with water. When full of water ten frost rings appear around the fingers, depleting as the stored water is used up.
At 5 points: Exists as a simple pair of gloves.
At 10 points: Can form ice blades that can withstand room temperature heat without melting, each blade consuming one ring.
At 20 points: Each ice blade’s cost is reduced by half, and can exist as liquid and performs more like water whips. In addition, Tobias can use the water stored to create a curtain of steam, costing one ring per five feet of steam cover.
At 30 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved. Ice blades can temporarily become gas to pass through a parry, though this almost certainly leads to an enemy attack. Tobias can fire off icicles from his fingertips, each one costing four rings.
At 40 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved except the icicles, which cost 3 rings. The steam can now become freezing as opposed to warm. Can instantly create an ice clone of himself which does absolutely nothing but possibly confuse an enemy. This costs two rings to pull off.
At 50 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved except the icicles and ice clone, which both cost two rings. The ice clone can now be controlled, using only physical attacks and its freezing touch to harm people. This costs one ring per each two posts to control.
At 60 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved, and now up to two ice clones can be controlled. Creating each one costs a ring with one ring per clone per two posts to control. In addition, a sphere of water can be created and thrown, exploding and causing anything nearby to be coated in a layer of ice. This is by no means fatal, only meant as a trap. This technique costs five rings to use.
At 70 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved, ice blades and icicles having no cost. Clones themselves are free, but controlling them costs half a ring per clone per two posts. Sphere attack still costs five rings. Tobias can now create midsize structures by expending all the water in his gauntlet. The structure depends upon what Tobias wants, and while made of ice is not freezing to the touch unless Tobias wills it.
At 80 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved. Tobias can create one or more very sharp icicles to either rise from the ground or fall from the sky, costing five per ring.
At 90 points: Each previous form’s cost is halved. Tobias can now create a massive wave of snow and ice to rush toward and crush an enemy. This attack costs him five rings, and freezes everything in its path.
At 100 points: All previous forms are nearly free, up to twenty clones can be created and controlled with Tobias remaining stationary, and the wave of ice cost is halved.
Talent(s)/Ability(s):

Name of ability: Gravity Manipulation
Amount of points: 25
Description of ability: Just like his father before him, Tobias can bend and control the forces known as gravity. It has been foretold that his powers will one day exceed his father, but for now he is less powerful. However, even the least amount of gravity manipulation can mean the difference between life and death. Tobias, even in his weaker state, can do one thing his father could not. He can change the gravity of nonliving things that he is not touching. This is limited to things five feet from him though. This limit is extended by five feet for every ten points put into this talent.
At 5 points: There is virtually no difference in the weight that he manipulates.
At 10 points: Can halve or double the weight of something he is holding.
At 20 points: Can quarter or multiply by four the thing that he is holding.
At 30 points: Can make it 1/8 the weight or eight times the weight of the thing that he is holding.
At 40 points: Can make it 1/16 the weight or sixteen times the weight of what he is holding.
At 50 points: Can make it 1/32 the weight or thirty-two times the weight of what he is holding.
At 60 points: Tobias can bend gravity enough to create a miniature black hole. Attacks are sucked into it and crushed. The duration of this technique is short, and leaves Tobias exhausted.
At 70 points: The duration of the black hole is extended and less energy consuming.
At 80 points: Can "throw" the black hole at the opponent. If hit by the black hole an enemy will be at least partially crushed by the strong gravitational forces.
At 90 points: Can produce a gravity field half a mile in diameter. A random roll of a six sided dice will determine the effects of the gravity.
#1: Triple the gravity (except Tobias).
#2: Double the gravity (except Tobias).
#3: No change in gravity, but quadruples the weight of Tobias.
#4: 1/4 gravity (includes Tobias)
#5: 1/8 gravity (includes Tobias)
#6: Absolutely no change in gravity whatsoever.
At 100 points: Has complete mastery over gravity. He can make gravity "wells" to enable him to fly. Can affect the gravity of things far out of his reach, but even with his mastery this is fairly strenuous.

Skills
Master ranked chef: Tobias is an exceptional chef, provided that the ingredients are provided for him. He has memorized perfectly well over a thousand recipes, yet must follow each one to the letter with no substitutions.
Tobias also has a highly trained sense of smell, and a good grasp of other people's emotions which he refers to having a scent as well.
