As Izaya hit the outdoor, cold, night air, he realized exactly how exposing his costume really was. The contact with his skin was instantaneous. He realized if he was going to keep his body temperature up, he would have to keep moving, but it didn't seem that was going to be a problem. Not if his adrenaline had anything to say about it.
A trash can came whizzing by and the informant narrowly dodged it. He hoped he could maybe hide among some trick-or-treated somewhere, but as there were few houses around the city to actually trick-or-treat at, this was in vain. Right. Now he needed help. He just needed to slow Shizuo down long enough to get away.
Taking out the last pokeball in his boot, Izaya tossed it over his shoulder as he continued to run. It bounced once before returning to him, a brown and teal Spritomb trailing after them both.
"Celty, can you put him to sleep?" he called breathlessly, nodding toward the monster pursing him. "I'd ask you to kill him, but somehow I don't think you'd let me." Not to mention murder might have been a little extreme for his resume as a Rocket. He might even have gotten chastised for bringing attention to the criminal organization if anyone happened to connect them.

Umbreon had been given an order, and even though he wasn't expecting the two of them to leave the building, he wasn't about to disobey Faleen, and seeing as she had not called him back the ringed pokemon streaked easily through the legs of the party goers after the two running humans, red eyes fixed as he joined them outside. Well, this wasn't going to go well, and if this implied anything about not letting it escalate, then Umbreon was sure it was time to get things under better control.
They were ground level, that was fine, Umbreon was quick on his feet, and well trained, he could keep up with a couple of humans no problem. But Umbreon wasn't so stupid to think that the other human would be without a Pokemon or two. "Breon! Umbre!" The dark type barked into the night, keeping himself close to the shadows of the buildings, avoiding the lights of the street lamps.
A couple of buildings away, a lightly colored, single horned head lifted high into the cold air of the autumn night, a fogged breath puffed from the blue nose of a dark eyes Absol. Next to him, a creature of identical structure and features lifted its head from its heavily clawed paws. Face tilting upward to look at the other Absol with wider eyes.
<… That’s Umbreon.> The first Absol growled, and without hesitation, leaped forward from the roof’s edge, leaping on a long ark over the streets before landing and streaking to find where his team mate was calling from. Behind him, the second identical Absol was close on his tail.

Celty, just newly released, was having a hard time keeping up with what was going on. Why did Izaya always have to let her out in such inconvenient situations? She was certain other Rockets didn't treat their pokemon like this. It was like he used her as a last resort; even as a scapegoat instead of using her to defend himself and his team like pokemon were meant to be used.
Why did he have to insist on being so stubborn as to do everything on his own? It seemed her trainer only let her out when there was nothing else that he - or she, for that matter - could do. If he had let her out earlier, she thought perhaps she could have kept it from coming to this!
With a small sigh, the dark and ghost type lingered a while as Izaya continued to run ahead and Shizuo began to catch up to her. Technically Izaya hadn't ever told her specifically to use 'Hypnosis', so was it her fault if Shizuo just happened to run by? Knowing her trainer, he probably deserved it, anyway. "Spirrritooomb," she greeted Aiden, already familiar with the steel and psychic type. She wanted to avoid attacking him if she could; after all, he/she/it and Shizuo were so nice when Izaya wasn't pestering Shizuo to his wits' end.
Pausing in her greeting, however, Celty caught another familiar pokemon cry. Was that Faleen's Umbreon...? He didn't seem to be calling to her, though...maybe she should try to find him. It would be impolite to just leave Aiden, though... "Tooooomb," she called out into the night, hoping to attract the attention of her fellow dark-types. She sensed others around as well, though she couldn't yet see them, and she hoped they were friends rather than foes. Izaya always seemed to be making enemies and she was tired of cleaning up messes he intentionally started.

Umbreon's ears fanned forward, when he heard a familiar call from just up ahead where the humans had run. lifting his head a little higher, as the Spiritomb, and a large Metagross where in his path.
"Celty." Umbreon snapped, in recognition, glancing wearily at the large steel psychic type with a split second of distant, slowing himself, but still sticking firmly to the shadows, large crimson eyes gleaming with what little light shone from the lamps.
Not long after Umbreon showed up, then the darkness further back began to Sturr. Umbreon glanced over at it, eyes narrowing. "Do you need help with this?" Umbreon asked Celty, as two creatures, streaking within the shadows, quickly, and suddenly melded from the darkness behind Umbreon, two sets of identical glowing Iris staring at the two Pokemon Umbreon was talking to.

Celty turned sharply at the sound of her name, recognizing the urgency in Umbreon's tone. She noticed the red-eyed eeveeloution eyeing the Metagross warily and placed herself between them. There was really no need to fight. It was the silly humans who were inclined to play some absurd form of tag, and she wasn't about to take part. Maybe they would run themselves ragged.
Before she could find the words to explain about Aiden to Umbreon, however, she noticed his back-up in the form of two, dark, looming shapes behind them. Intimidating, they were, and perfect for Halloween.
the dark ghost replied uneasily, feeling a little embarrassed. She had been caught socializing while her trainer had given her orders, which was especially humiliating when the pokemon who had caught her was so adept at following his own trainer's commands.
At the distraction of Aiden's question, she glanced back at the steel and psychic-type. She glanced at Umbreon.
When Aiden referred to Faleen's group of dark-types, Celty eagerly turned to them. she continued uncertainly, peering into the darkness with nocturnal vision as her spiral pupil swirled. Aiden is very nice. As is Shizuo, when Izaya isn't provoking his temper.> She sighed.
