Weakness:
The fans relies on the user's chakra system for its own abilities. Being katon chakra influencing the fans, being struck by water or submerged would freeze up the fans' abilities. [One post per rank, ex. E = 1 post, D = 2 post etc. If submerged it'll last until out of the water and two posts after out of water. Mist doesn't count]
Description:
In its sealed state, the fans are approximately one foot long when closed, spanning out to two feet when opened. Made from thin blades of Obsidian and infused with Hinoka's unique chakra these pair of fans are very different from others. The fans are searing hot when touched, burning those who make contact with it save for Hinoka herself. The fans release heat which is hot enough to evaporate water moisture nearby giving a very dry effect. Being slashed by the weapons would even sear the area of contact leaving it burned and dry, becoming more sensative to heat. One ability the fans hold is while the user is holding them, she can perform fire skills without the need of handsigns, the techniques being performed through the fans. The fans also supply Hinoka's fire techniques with a boost of wind, increasing its powers by one rank. However, strictly katon can be used, preventing the use of any other types of jutsu that requires handseals. To achieve the weapons' release state, the fan must absorb either five katon techniques and/or absorb the rays of sunlight for ten posts.
Once either is achieved, the fans erupt in a body of redish gold flames doubling in size. The fans then resemble a series of blades covered in these beautiful flames. During its release state, which is held for five posts, ten posts if method was through sunlight and 15 posts if both conditions are met. The weapons gain access to releasing scorching waves of heat capable of melting iron and evaporate water moisture that have a reach of 10m in the direction the user is facing. The blades of the fans glow like metal pulled out of a furnace, capable of cutting through steel like a lightsaber would, which should one be struck by the blades they would be engulfed in fire and the heat so intense as soon as the damage is dealt the wound cauterized. Deactivated or posts expired, the process would have to be done again to achieve Released. Suiton higher ranked than the user can forcibly revert the released state back to sealed state, however each post the fans are "disabled" is how many more posts of sunlight to regain Released status. A fun fact is whenever the fans are being used, they give off heat making them look like a mirage you'd see in a desert.

Additional Info:
The number of posts of sunlight or number of katon techniques absorbed are like counters. On the profile or posting format, the number of skills absorbed or posts of sunlight absorbed are marked in () next to the weapon's name. Once the user "releases" the weapons, these counters will decrease for each post the weapons are in released state. Once one or both hits zero, release state is sealed.

Due to the size and weight of the weapon, it requires two hands to wield this weapon until proper training is recieved. During release state, should the weapon be struck by a higher ranking water technique than the user, the release state will become sealed.
Description:
In its sealed form, its a cleaver sword, the blade is made of cobalt. Reaching 30in in length, including the handle 42inches. At the end of the hilt is a chain that extends out a foot, made of the same material the blade is. Hinoka made the sword herself, mixing her chakra within it so only she may wield it, as well as call upon it when needed. Being mixed with her chakra also gave it some abilities she bestowed upon it. One such ability is capability of slicing through chakra equal to the rank of Hinoka. Same time, it can also defend Hinoka. Whenever she holds the blade by its hilt and the point is facing downwards, a shield of chakra forms around her big enough to contain her. This shield of chakra can block chakra equal in rank or less, guarding her until she releases the position. However, both offense/defense can take a number of assaults varying on the rank of the user.

By cutting/blocking a certain number of assaults, the weapon gains energy until it has enough to access its release state. In order to attain "release", it has to cut/block a total of 15 chakra assaults. Once it reaches 15, flames consume the sword and the chain, becoming concentrated around the blade to where it glows hotly. The chain grows seven more feet and grow in size. The fire around the chains grow immensely and concentrates its form, turning into a flaming snake. The snake of fire, in a sense, is alive and will strike at those who get close enough, fangs made of pure chakra and the metal the chains are made from. The flaming snake is capable of spitting out concentrated fire chakra in the form of senbons at high speeds to where a doujutsu or high ranked shinobi can see it. The strength matches that of the user's rank, and once it punches into something it'll set it ablaze and start melting the area of impact. Also, the chain link making the "skeleton" of the blazing snake can seperate and launch into the sky, falling back down like miniture meteorites impacting the area releasing small shockwaves of fire (radius of 3ft). Impact from the chains at these speeds can punch through iron easily. A post after impact, the chains will regroup to the hilt of the sword back into the gaint flaming snake once more. This part of the ability has a recharge time frame of two posts before it can be used again. After 15 posts expire, or the release form is forcibly reverted the count will restart. A water technique higher ranked then the user will forcibly revert this release state. Requiring 15 more strikes/blocks to regain ability to "release"

Additional Info:
Similar to Vakarou, the number of chakra related skills sliced or blocked are recorded like counters, which is kept on the profile/posting format which next to the weapon name marked in (). Once the user "releases" the weapon, these counters decrease for each post the weapon is in the released state. Once it hits zero, the release state is sealed again. Due to the power of this release, Hinoka can only access it once she's chunin rank.
