"Booyah, huh? Never heard that one but you mind if I use it?" Vaith questioned as he swam past, the waters clear for them to reach the invisible dog.

AHHH WHYWAS IT MOVING, Vaith reached out in what looked like might be a successful grab but ended out .. as pretty damned close sad

Puppy! Puppypuppypuppypuppy! Gargantuan sloshed wildly through the water after the boat and the tasty, frilly looking outfit the invisible dog was wearing, trying to snatch him up with wildly snatching, suction-tipped fingers. So close! But, then he just tripped and hit his face.

Nope. No luck at all. Gargantuan just floundered in the water miserably as the boat drew farther and farther away. No puppy for him.

Vaith's hand reached out, missing several times. Ugh, why was this invisible dog such a fast swimmer? Vaith decided to try a new tactic, diving underwater. He saw the other two boils under the water .. and he also saw the dark form of the basket underwater.

Diving from below, his hands caught firmly around the basket.

"Gotcha! Don't fool around too much or we can't get you." He tried tot ell the minipet, calling out to the other boils.

"I've got it! Let's go back, guys!"

Even as Vaith swimmed back, he nearly lost the invisible dog several more times. It kept trying to thrash and move away in the water and nearly made the reaper drown. Drown with a passion--- That was one way to fail a test. Huh, the distance back seemed so much farther than the distance getting here. Especially with an uncooperative basket. Nearing the solid ground that housed Professor Malcolm, Vaith barely found the energy to hang onto the fellow boil, thank god, the boil was holding onto him.

God, that was tiring.

"PUPPY!" Gargantuan practically writhed about in the water with delight when Vaith managed to reach the boat, grinning like an idiot and lunging through the water like... well, a breaching whale. It was much less magical. Sloshing eagerly closer to the reaper, Gargantuan would do his best to scoop up Vaith in one arm, and nab Charlie in the other as he promptly turned about and headed back towards shore, where the professor was waiting.

"Puppy saved!" G announced happily, still holding each boy under an arm and looking as though he had no intention of setting them down anytime soon. G helped! Kinda. G good Fearleader!"

Did that count? He thought it should count."

"Thanks dude." Vaith gratefully asked, wondering when the boil might drop him.

"You're an awesome swimmer man." Unfortunately, Vaith didn't have the energy nor the stamina to what G could.  

[Chobi_Chocobo]

"You can use it if you like~" Charlie piped up. His team mates were chasing the invisible dog down and for a while it looked hopeless. But Vaith had managed to grab hold of it some how in the end. Everything worked out.

"Good job bro~" He gave a nod to G as well and started back for the shore. In a very awkward manner. Charlie wasted no time climbing up out of the water and shaking him self off. The exam. It was done.

Vlad was wagging his tail, not that anyone could see it. They could probably be able to hear the thump thump thump of his tail, however, as it whacked against the side of the boat he had been placed in. Once they were on dry land again, he leaped out of the boat, dropping the shiny crown on the way to Malcolm.

"Good work, Knobs," He nodded at the three drenched students, resisting the urge to chuckle at how they looked, "Congrats on passing this exam. Everyone helped and played a part in rescuing Vlad... Here is proof that you had done well." He held out his hand, opening it to reveal three identical pins resting on his palm - copies of his pin.

[I suck and had not done a pin for Malcolm yet but you know, you have it ICly. >__>
