Looking at the adding/losing points...maybe Y1 students should not lose points if they lose a battle to a Y2? Otherwise they may avoid fighting with Y2s?

Oh! You can have a Y1 and Y2 battle each other with the stats lowered, ex: only Y1 HP and Skills to make it more fair! It's pretty much up to you and your opponent to come to an agreement on what you'll do. If the two battlers come to terms and can commence & complete the battle RP, it seems quite fine to count it... right? O 3 O
