He feels that through speaking it is too easy to make a fool of oneself, and it is better to express yourself through actions rather than words. Still, the buck travels along quite happily with his new found companions, excited for whatever adventure is around the corner.

Round is a hedonist. He's constantly indulging. He loves to eat, and surround himself with both does and bucks that pique his interest, in ways both platonic and otherwise! He also has a love for some of the more hallucinogenic plants and animals in the swamp...
He doesn't care much for healthy behavior or morals, though that doesn't mean he's going to go around killing things. Round just does what makes him feel good, and if it's something thats generally frowned upon, he can't find the energy to care.
Sometimes, when he isn't bedding anyone, or eating, he's going around spreading his ideology... He's somewhat of an unintentional preacher. Its not that he wants to bend other kin to his way of life... He usually is just sharing his opinion in hopes of gaining another lover.

A simply spoken, easy going buck, Ridge grew up in a large family unit surrounded by his many brothers and sisters and was responsible for planting and harvesting various plants for their meals each day. Each Kimeti had a different mother, but the same father who seemed to enjoy rearing children. The buck, though busy with all of his children, some how managed to help them all and give them enough attention. He grew up to respect his father, and partly wishes to continue his legacy. However... There is a little problem with that - He longs for a lasting partnership... With a buck. However, he also aware that, to have his own offspring, he must mate with a female.
Until then he travels around with his friend Cardamom, and the two of them teach young Kimeti about the various uses of herbs and plants within the swamp. He takes things slow and is insanely patient, and rarely raises his voice, making him an effective teacher.

As a filly on the cusp of adulthood, she was inspired by the teachings of a strange buck with floral patterns on his back and no horns as she eavesdropped on him speaking to a doe who lived in the same area as she. Though she now knows that the Buck was trying to convince the doe to be his lover, she is still inspired with the confidence he exuded without being obnoxious. She tries to emulate that Buck's behavior, however instead of being confident and graceful, Cardamom is quite clumsy and hot headed. She always has some sort of bruise or scrape somewhere on her body, and is always in a spat with someone. She assists Blue Ridge Mountain in his travels and studies, though is a complete opposite to Ridge. Even though she tries to be gentle and graceful, she just can't help who she is deep down inside.

Usually, Storm is a calm, quiet, and scholarly buck. He follows the teachings of his father very closely, and almost always obeys his mother. But there are several things that set him off, and when he is set off, he's unstoppable. The one thing that is sure to send him off in an angry rant is insensitivity, and judging someone before you know someone. Sure, some tell him he's over reacting, but he's faced a lot of this in his life and frankly, he's tired of it.
Somewhat of a 'tough guy', Storm is very protective of his family. After all, having one mother and two fathers gets its fair share of strange looks!

Home is very set in his ways, and he won't let anyone change that. He doesn't travel much at all, in fact the farthest he goes from his den is only a mile or two to find some food.
You could say that Home is a hermit. Though he's rather young, he acts much like an old curmudgeon. He is always cranky, and constantly at dds with his brother, Away. The two are complete opposites, but still somehow manage to get a long. Away just about the only kin that Home will ever trust, let alone talk to.
When Home isn't hunting for food, he's usually relaxing at home, organizing stones and other things that he thinks are pretty. He does have a bit of a recreational habit of eating hallucinogenic plants. After all, it gets a little boring on your own from time to time.

Plains is a decadent buck, and is constantly indulging himself and his lover, No Light in Your Eyes. Though despite his decadence, he's a hard worker, and often gets very stressed. His mate is blind, so he does a lot of work for the other buck. It gets stressful, because he insists on waiting on him, even though Light might not need it. While very over protective of his mate, he's also incredibly jealous, though he tries to control it. He's also very melodramatic and tends to over react over small things.
While he was born in the Plains with the rest of the Kiokote, upon coming of age he decided that he would go to the swamp, thinking thats where he would be most suited. There he met his mate, and has been living there with him ever since.
