Home Sweet Home

Somewhere in the vast mass of blackness, stars, gases, and planets, laid the world known to its inhabitants as Sera. Sera is similar to the far away planet of Earth, in the means of sustaining life for plants, animals, and even humans.

The planet consists of a few very large continents, with chains of islands in between and outside the continents' waters.

Unfortunately, Sera shared on Earth's crisis qualities, though on a larger scale. Energy was in extremely high demand, and could not be met with fossil or nuclear fuel. Luckily, Sera had a resource completely unique to it known as Imulsion. The liquid gold substance provided long lasting energy, easily conquering Sera's energy crisis.

History of Sera

Age of Armageddon
Sera has a history of conflict that took the planet to the brink of destruction. The "Age of Armageddon" was a millennia-long global conflict which nearly destroyed the human race. At some point, the people of Sera rejected their destructive ways and the very concept of war, ushering in an era of peace and prosperity.

Silver Era
The Silver Era was an era of sword and chariot-based warfare. Kashkur and Gorasnaya both founded empires during this era and conquered the lands around their native homelands. For both empires it was their golden age: Kashkur they used their silver mines to fuel their empire and built Anvil Gate to protect their southern borders from enemy invaders; the Gorasnanya Empire controlled a population of four hundred million, before losing control and returning to its native borders. Ephyra City during this time was only a village with homes made out of manure.

Era of Silence
The Era of Silence was a period of uninterrupted peace that lasted until the Pendulum Wars. Although most conflict was solved peacefully, civil liberties and crime remained troublesome social issues even in a Golden Age of culture, science, and the arts. Yet one problem stood prominent above the rest: energy. Sera's sources of petroleum and nuclear fuel were not sufficient to meet the global demand. Imulsion, with its promise of near limitless energy, was thought to be the solution to mankind's greatest need. The era ended with the onset of the Gold Rush.

Pendulum Wars
Following the perfection of the Lightmass Process, the hope that cheap energy would perpetuate the Golden Age was shattered. The global economy crumbled, leaving only the few nations with access to Imulsion unscathed. Nations without Imulsion, faced with utter ruin, invaded their neighbors to obtain that key resource. The battle lines were drawn between the Union of Independent Republics and the Coalition of Ordered Governments. Their seventy-nine year war almost destroyed both factions, with the reemergence of weapons of mass destruction. After the Battle of Aspho Fields, the Pendulum Wars came to an eventual close, with a heavy price on the people of Sera. It seemed that under the Coalition of Ordered Governments, Sera could enter a second Golden Age.

Emergence Day
Nearly 79 years after the Pendulum Wars began, almost all human cities came under surprise attack by the The Locust Horde, who killed over a quarter of all human life on Sera within the first 26 hours: an attack now known as E-day. The COG sent several million humans to Jacinto Plateau, one of the few safe refuges on the planet. They then proceeded to scorch and destroy the planet with chemicals and satellite fire in order to prevent the Locust from inhabiting Sera’s surface, killing billions more humans and stranding the survivors. After the scorching, Sera’s surface was littered with the ruins of destroyed cities and war-scorched battlefields. Some humans, known as "The Stranded", still inhabit Sera’s fallen cities. Beyond that, very little remains, and the COG took refuge and set up base at Jacinto City, which hard ground made it impossible for Locust to dig directly into it, making the city a safe haven.

The Locust Enemy

Leaders - They lead the enemy army to their deaths and victories.
The Locust Queen
The Locust Queen is the enigmatic leader of the Locust Horde. Though she is never present on the battlefield, she is possibly able to observe skirmishes with the COG and possibly even command the units of her army. It is unknown if she is a member of any known Locust races. Despite the fact that locust speech in general is deep and sometimes unclear, Queen Myrrah speaks perfectly.

Skorges
Skorges are High Priests of the Locust Horde. They are members of the Kantus caste of priests, sharing their tall, sinewy frame. They wear specialized armor, studded with spikes. They also sport several dreadlocks that are attached to their helmet. In addition to standard Kantus priest combat equipment consisting of a Gorgon Pistol and Ink Grenades, they may use a formidable staff with chainsaws at each end.

General RAAM
A bigger, slower version of the boomer. RAAMs keep jagged swords and are strong enough to heft the giant Troika gun with their bare hands. They wear a huge, black coat and have a permanent snarling look about them. When they are encountered at night, they 'wear' a kryll shield that deflects small-arms projectiles.

Foot Soldiers - The most commonly face enemy, who handle all the dirty work.
Drones
The most common enemy. Intelligent, humanoid creatures that flank, take cover and rush, and are able to wield weapons. Much stronger than wretches, and sometimes mount Troika guns. They wear body armor and a helmet, and if they are on a Troika, a pair of goggles. Their skin is white and pasty.

Grenadiers
The same as a drone, but equipped with no body armor or helmet. Instead, they have rough, hard skin as defense from projectiles. They also specialize in grenades, so watch out.

Snipers
The same as a drone, but equipped with goggles (not night-vision goggles, just goggles) and a lot weaker. They'll usually stay in a well-protected area or behind cover, where they can utilize their sniper rifle to problematic effect.

Theron Guards
High-ranking humanoid creatures that are tough as nails. Outfitted with the Locust's best weapons; manufactured or stolen, they can take a lot more of a beating than drones. They give orders with a hoarse, hissing voice that sounds like a snake. This can help when making tactical decisions as it is possible to hear what the Theron Guard intends to do. Theron Guards wear masks and long, black, trailing coats.

Flame Grenadier
A Flame Grenadier is a Locust Grenadier armed exclusively with the Scorcher Flamethrower. Flame Grenadiers are also equipped with a backpack fuel tank that significantly increases the fuel capacity of the Scorcher.

Berserkers
Giant humanoid creatures that are extremely strong and tough. They are female and cannot be harmed with conventional firearms. Only the Hammer of Dawn LASER provides enough force to rip through their extremely tough armor and skin. A berserker charge can easily destroy anything in its way, including stone pillars and columns, walls, Locust soldiers and Gears. Once a berserker has been hit with the Hammer of Dawn LASER, small-arms fire will be able to damage it for a short period of time, especially while it is stunned (sort of dancing around).

Kantus
The Kantus stand almost 7 feet in height and have leathery white flesh. Kantus are essentially Locust priests and are led by the Locust High Priests, Skorge. Kantus are often heard chanting, which is used to communicate with other locust, (Drones, Rock Worms and Tickers) often directing them to attack the enemies concentrating on him. Kantus can also manipulate their voices to very deadly effect, stunning and even knocking opposition down with their ear-piercing screams. Since Kantus can also revive their downed locust brethren with their chants, it is advised to kill the Kantus hanging back before wiping out the other locust. This can be quite difficult though, because the Kantus are surprisingly agile, frequently leaping out of the line of fire. As vicious as their masters, The Kantus' primary weapon is the Gorgon Burst Pistol and the Ink Grenade, which it wields with deadly precision.

Boomers
Large, humanoid creatures with staggering defenses that can even protect them from a full burst of the Hammer of Dawn's LASER. Usually encountered in twos, they are slow, dull-witted and easy to flank, but wield the boomshot, an extremely lethal grenade launcher. Their skin is white and pasty, like those of drones.

Butcher Boomers
Much like the Boomer, they are large, slow and extremely tough. The only difference is they wield a large sword and more heavily armored, making them tougher to kill while their hacking and slashing Gears to bits. Boomers are equipped with a variety of weapons, such as the Boom Shot, a large jagged sword, or Multcher Chain Gun.

Wretches
Small ape-like creatures. Easily killed alone, but usually make a co-ordinated rush with several other wretches to overrun Gears.

Creatures - Wildlife of Sera used by the Locust army.
Seeders
Colossal insectoids that sit in one spot and generally make life harder. They have the uncanny ability to jam radio transmissions and are able to spawn nemacyst. They cannot attack on their own but are always guarded by a large number of Locust; wretches, drones, sometimes even Theron Guards join the fight.

Nemacyst
Nemacyst are living balls of explosive that kill by propelling themselves (at variable speeds) towards their targets in a mass kamikaze attack. They have tentacles on their undersides and fly to move. Nemacyst will frequently attempt to destroy King Raven helicopters by ramming right through them at very high speeds, which is why in some areas air support or pickup is unavailable. Nemacyst, like octopi, can release a sort of inky cloud into the air, blotting out the sky. The effect prevents any possibility of the Hammer of Dawn being used. When the player engages nemacyst in combat, they usually fly at far slower speeds than when attacking King Ravens to make it easier because of the possibility of endangering (more important) Locust soldiers. Nemacyst can simply be shot once or twice before they die.

Kryll
The kryll are small creatures that look like bats and come out at sunset. In the day, they sleep in the caves of The Hollows. They are carnivorous and devour anything which steps into the darkness of night in a piranha-like swarm. A few seconds in the dark is therefore enough to kill Locust soldiers and Gears. Kryll have a pronounced weakness to light, and can be burned to cinders with Ultra Violet light.

Corpsers
Huge arachnids that dig tunnels for Locust soldiers in order to aid attacks and transportation. The only place they cannot dig up through is Jacinto Plateau, which is on a huge slab of granite. In combat, corpsers are deceptively fearsome but in reality easily beaten. Corpsers have large teeth and many eyes.

Reavers
Flown by drone pilots (probably wearing goggles), reavers are large creatures that are able to fly, and are used in combat or transportation. They can be damaged by all weapons, but chain guns and Troikas are most effective. Reavers usually hold the pilot and one other 'passenger'; another drone or a Theron Guard. Reavers sometimes have mounted chin guns to assault with. In addition, the accuracy of the passenger is not affected by riding on a reaver, nor is it affected by being so far away. In fact, one might think a Theron Guard with a torque bow would preferably ride on a reaver to acquire a perfect shot.

Tickers
Tickers (called so because they emit a 'ticking' sound, and explode like a time-bomb) are small creatures that the Locust use as mines, mainly against COG vehicles. However, they are also devastating to COG infantry, and are used in this way particularly by the Kantus, who summon them two at a time and use them as a last defense when under direct threat by COG units. They are quick moving and relatively difficult to detect despite the sounds they emit, making them dangerous and unpredictable adversaries, especially in large groups. Due to the gas released by tickers when about to explode, and the tanks mounted on their backs, it would seem that Imulsion is used to cause the explosions.

Brumaks
Brumaks are huge Monsters with extraordinarily thick hides. They often grow to 12 meters in height and tend to weigh around 10,000 kilograms (22,046lbs). They were apparently bred by the Locust Horde from smaller native apes and are lethal at close range. Their head-gear resembles the Corpser's helmet, but their bodies have more in common with humanoids than arachnids. Brumaks are capable of carrying a rocket launcher and a Gatling gun on their back, in addition to two high-caliber autocannon-like guns on the forearms; they have also been rumored to carry energy beam cannons to kill at a range. Their strength can be compared to a Corpser's.

Bloodmounts
The Bloodmounts are usually kept in a cage until the riders choose them. They carry a single rider on its back for gun support. It has two legs which it uses as claws to attack enemies, but it really walks on its hands and attacks with its shriveled feet. Once the passenger has been eliminated it will run at you and maul you. This also occurs if and when you cause enough damage to its head, where the Bloodmount will attempt to claw it's helmet off, sending the beast into a violent rage.

Siegebeast
The Siegebeast was a large creature that has been enslaved by the Locust Horde, and turned into a catapult-like machine. To operate as a catapult, the creature is forcibly strapped into a war machine, with its legs continually bent back so projectiles can be launched at enemy positions.

The Lambent Enemy

The Lambent, or 'Glowies' (as the Serans call them), refer to a mutated variant of the Locust, created from prolonged exposure to Imulsion. The Lambent share some of the same technology, armor and weapons with the Locust. Most Lambent differ in behavior, appearance, strength, and death from their Locust counterparts. They have the ability to transform in mid battle, after taking several hits. These Lambent are still able to be killed, though they are liable to explode after death, or explode when they want to. The explosion might be remotely detonated by the Lambent form and not automatically activated.

Polyp
These smaller parasitic Lambent are crab-like with eight legs and a small abdomen. They are normally spewed from Lambent Stalks and mutated Drudges. Like all other Lambent forms, they have black, rock-like skin with glowing yellow Imulsion-like blood. They spit a noxious, Imulsion goo when threatened and can swarm over floors, walls and ceilings to blow up at an enemy's feet. They are physically similar to Wretches, as they can climb on walls, but are more closely like Tickers. They also act to spread the Lambent infection to other Locust, mainly Drones, by attaching themselves to their backs.

Stalk
Lambent Stalks were massive plant-like structures appearing similar to roots and trees that seem to spawn from deep in the ground, presumably from the source of their mutation, Imulsion. The Stalks can release from their branches and bases, Lambent footsoldiers like the Polyps, Drudges, or even Lambent Berserkers from the trunk or base of the Stalk.

Drudge
The Lambent Drudge, a hideously mutated Locust Drone, is the most recognizable part of the Lambent's fighting force. However, these creatures have lost all form of sentience. They have the ability to morph their ligaments and heads, forcing their enemies to constantly change tactics and becoming a deadlier threat.

Lambent Wretch
Much like their non-mutated cousins, Lambent Wretches are most formidable in their numbers, attacking their enemies in a wild and unpredictable fashion. And like all Lambent, they will explode upon death, making them especially dangerous for Gears unlucky enough to come across them.

Lambent Drone
Lambent Drones are Drones that have been exposed to Imulsion enough to become Lambent but not long enough to mutate into Drudges. Lambent Drones essentially share the same appearance to their Locust counterparts, with the exception of their glowing skin.

Lambent Berserker
Lambet Berserkers can spawn from the Lambent Stalks. Lambent Berserkers are bigger, faster, more violent than their standard counterpart, and they jump unlike the original Berserkers. They have long spider-like appendages that sprout from their backs and have been shown to be much less vulnerable to the Hammer of Dawn than normal Berserkers.

Gunker
Gunkers are the Lambent forms of Boomers. They have, perhaps, mutated the most from their original forms in comparison to their kin. Unable to wield weapons, Gunkers now simply relay on projectile vomiting what appears to be burning masses of Imulsion for long distances. When enemies close in, the arms of the Gunker can be thrown and stretched out to thrice it's length, the pointed end of the arm acting like a deadly spear tip to any unfortunate soul hit.

The Gears of War

The Gears
A Gear is an infantry soldier of the Coalition of Ordered Governments. Gears are highly trained and resilient soldiers, having been in a continuous state of war ever since the Pendulum Wars. As of the Locust-Human War, the Gears are the primary military opposition to the Locust Horde. Gears are organized into squads of four to six soldiers, as opposed to the swarm tactics employed by the Locust. Gears are usually marked by the Crimson Omen emblem.

Some Gear squads have access to bot units, but the high level of attrition the bot units have suffered combined with with the ongoing Locust-Human War have made replacement components for bot units to be an increasingly-uncommon commodity. Currently, only elite and high-level squads are entrusted with bot units, though many Gear units are alleged to make use of salvaged replacements when available.

Bot units used to be common, even expendable, equipment for Gear squads. Colonel Hoffman once stated "I can remember when these things came by the crate load." All bot units have a name, such as Frank, Bruce, or Jack.

Gear History
The Gears are the evolution of Pre-Pendulum Wars coalition. COG Gears have been present for 79 years, serving in two of Sera's most violent wars, the Pendulum Wars and the Locust-Human War. During the Pendulum Wars the Gears were supported by a highly modern and heavy mechanized armed force. After the Emergence Day attack the standard, The COG lost a majority of their support and equipment and had to rely on 15 year old equipment for the Gears, leaving them ill-prepared for the current Locust War.

Equipment
Gears are equipped with a range of protective armor, most notably the bullet-resistant cuirass and compatible apparatus-equipped helmet that provides protection from inhaled chemicals, blunt trauma, shrapnel, and low-caliber or poorly aimed bullets. However, the helmets offer no protection from a high-caliber long shot round.

Most COG armor cuirasses have uniform blue or gray paint jobs and an imprinted Crimson Omen. The cuirasses also use a series of identification lights that glow blue for easy identification by allied units. All COG armor curiasses are fitted with back-mounted magnets for carrying equipment. COG armor may be power armor or semi-powered armor, as it is stated the armor uses servos to assist the user. COG armor cuirasses are in high demand; while most Gears use conventional models, older models have been issued to meet the demand.

Gear soldiers were once described as "walking tanks", and undergo rigorous physical training to achieve top physical shape, as evidenced by their ability to perform a number of acrobatic stunts, push car frames, carry enemies as mobile cover, and survive long falls without serious injury. Not all of their movement is done by sheer physical strength though. The newer models of Gear armor is semi-powered, giving soldiers help and relief.

The Rules of the Role Play

I hold the power to remove or add rules when necessary.
I hold the power to enforce the rules and-or ban players when rules are disobeyed/ignored.

(1. The GaiaOnline Terms of Service are always in effect, and will be enforced here. Keep them in mind in this role play, and in everything you do.

(2. As part of GaiaOnline's ToS, sexual things are to be toned down to a non-pornographic level. Perverse behavior is fine, perverse activities need to be careful, and the beast with two backs needs to be made outside of role play posts.

(3. Please following the role play's writing standards.
XXXXX-Third person in past tense. (Jim walked across the beach.)

XXXXX-Posts need to contain at least one paragraph (five sentences together in a bunch, not spaced out).
XXXXXXXXXX-If you wish to write beyond a paragraph, feel free to do so. Also, do not be intimidated by larger posts. Some players are long winded, while others are not. As long as you meet the minimum, you may post as long or as short as you want.

XXXXX-Use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. We should be old enough to understand and know the differences between there/their/they're and to/too/two.

(4. Posting formats are neither encouraged or discouraged. Coloring texts, adding pictures, and-or adding decorative characters are optional.
XXXXX-It is asked though that formats with pictures and decorative characters are not made wide enough to stretch out and distort the pages. Formats found doing so will be asked to change and will be guided to a proper width. Failure to thin the format will result in elimination of the format. Return of the format after elimination and still stretching the page will result in removal of the player.
XXXXX-If you choose to color your text, please use colors that are easy to read. Bright colors, such as cyan or yellow, should not be used even the text is made bold. If your text is too bright, it will be asked that you change colors. Failure to change colors will result in banning.

(5. There are power limits to these things. No one person can become a God like figure.
XXXXX-Godmodding/Powerplaying is rather self explanatory. You are not an all powerful being, so don't even attempt being/making one.
XXXXXXXXXX-Creating a Mary/Gary Stu like character is very similar to Godmodding/Powerplaying, and will be counted as such. Characters that come off as a Mary/Gary Stu will not be allowed into the role play until they have been revised down to a believable level. For more information on what a Mary/Gary Stu is, click here.

XXXXX-Autohitting and autododging are forms of Godmodding. These are also not allowed.
XXXXXXXXXX-Autohitting is when you write out that you attack was successful and had it's intended affects upon another character, thus putting you one step ahead. Autohitting yourself is fine, but do not autohit someone else.
XXXXXXXXXX-Autododging is the magic of every blow being thrown your way somehow missing. No one can never be hit ever; everyone takes some blows.

XXXXX-Mind control, mind reading, and seeing into the future are tricky and frustrating things to do. However, these actions are not banned, just asked that they are done carefully. There needs to be a give and take system with these abilities. It is asked that you make contact with another player before you try to play with their mind. For matters over seeing into the future over major plot lines, contact either Zahzi or myself please.

XXXXX-Ghosting is the act of temporarily taking minor control of another character. It can be used to brush a character away when the player has gone, such as when they must leave their internet access for an extended amount of time, or when someone logs out while many other players still remain and the role play is in full swing.
XXXXXXXXXX-Do not ghost another character if the other player is still online, or to finish off an action they were doing. Use is only for getting them out of the way so things may still go.

XXXXX-Murdering/Killing another person's character is strictly forbidden. Any act of killing someone without asking the player's permission will result in an automatic and permanent ban from the role play.
XXXXXXXXXX-For acts of murder/killing, player one must make contact with player two and ask for permission to kill the character. If an agreement is made, both player one and two must message me about the upcoming death. I will not accept only one player messaging me about the agreed death.

(6. To the best of your ability, try not to fall behind in the role play. At the same time, do not bury other players with your posts.
XXXXX-I understand we sometimes need to go for a long time. However, I won't stop the whole role play because of one absence. So I kindly ask that if you must go you try to remove yourself from the scene. If you can't do this, you shall be ghosted out.

XXXXX-Private sessions are when a small group of players begin to post one after another, typically branching away from what was originally going on and making a new situation for them to deal with so they have something to post while others are away. These private sessions often bury the others with a massive amount of posts that usually have no affect upon them, and are frustrating to navigate through. It's asked that private sessions are limited down to the completion of the page. Once a new page is created, even if there was only one or two posts made, the private session needs to end.

Important Notices, Things, and Questions

Weapons
When creating your character, please do not equip them with a weapon that is not listed here. Although you may prefer something else other than what is provided, it would offset things a bit, and may cause an imbalance in things.
Also, be realistic with your equipment. The Hammer of Dawn is not just given to anyone to carry around, nor can it be used at any time of the day. Carrying a turret around in your hands is also very hindering and unrealistic, so don't bother.

Black List
The Black List is where banned players will be marked and shown. The following on this list are forever banned from this particular role play. Banning may occur if one breaks too many rules, purposely angers other players, or argues too much with myself over role play matters.

The Black List is clear! mrgreen

Question and Answers
Before asking a question, please refer to the Gearspedia, the Gears of War wikia as it may hold the answer you seek. If it doesn't, then ask me your question so I may answer it in the best way possible.
All questions will be shared below to prevent a question being asked multiple times.
Q: May we use different armor, other than the standard Gear armor?
A: The answer to this question depends. If you would like to use different armor, please discuss it with me first. Some things may or may not be achievable within the universe of Sera.

Enemy Control
Anyone may 'control' the enemy throughout the role play. However, please do not hijack someone's attack, as they are trying to reach a certain outcome and it's incredibly rude and frustrating when control is taken out of their hands.
On the flip side, do not play God with the enemy. The Locusts may be strong and well numbered, but they are not invincible. If your enemy is fairly and logically killed, they're dead. Do not just ignore their death and continue on. And try to avoid being ridiculous, such as having one Locust directly behind another, so if the lead dies there's another to continue their job immediately. Bullets have a funny way of sometimes exiting the body so that sort of thing is just plain dangerous.

Role Play Story Line and Personal Story Line
Although in the official universe of Gears of War follows Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad, we will not be following or copying their characters. While the original characters do exist, they will exist outside of the storyline in this role play. Our characters will be leading the main story, meaning we will go through all three of the Gears of War games in sequencing order.

Character story lines are allowed and encouraged. I will do my best to let everyone have their story line when they're ready. I do ask, however, that you send me a personal message asking me to start your personal story prior to starting it. This prevents me from running off with the main plot, thus burying or ruining your moment. However, if we're in the middle of a main plot scene, try not to have an extended personal story moment. Short moments are fine, but do not divert the story and attention away from the main plot for an extended personal story.

Character Skeleton

Every soldier is equipped with Gear armor, even if a Gear is assigned into a Silverback. You have a choice of wearing a helmet or not with your armor. Be warned though: helmeted Gears may have more protection and bonuses versus unhelmeted ones don't, but helmets make you an easy target for snipers to find with the glowing eyes, and to find snipers is harder to do making you that much easier to peg off. Choose wisely.

Welcome to the COG.: Username.
What's your name?: Character name (first and last)
How old are ya?: Age; TECHNICALLY, the age limit is 18, but you can be reasonably younger (also known as lying)
So what are you downstairs?: Male or Female; NOTE: Females are not accepted into the army unless they are infertile. Fertility is highly prized, as repopulating the human species is a highly needed and women perfectly capable of baring children are protected and hidden away. Not that it should affect your decision, but it's something you should be aware of.
Why are you joining our forces now?: History
Catch! {equipment is thrown to you}: What are your weapons? (Limit 2 two handed and one pistol) Tell me Yes or No Helmet
Got any special talents?: Are you good with technology? A sharp shooter? Good with the distrusting Strandeds?
Take these. {a set of dog tags in the shape of two cogs are given to you} Was there something else you wanted to share?
Oh yeah, say cheese! {there's a bright camera flash as your mugshot is taken}: Appearance
Welcome to Delta Squad.: Rank

If you are interested in joining, please send a profile with the skeleton found above these words completely filled out to me, Randomly Gone Insane, along with a role play sample that is at least a five sentence paragraph (if you wish to extend the sample, that is fine).

Delta Squad

Welcome to the COG.: Randomly Gone Insane
What's your name?: Soqed Hozi
How old are ya?: 30
So what are you downstairs?: Female
Why are you joining our forces now?: Soqed was born into a comfortable life style, her father being an owner of a Imulsion refinery, a literal gold mine for the Hozi family. Deep within COG territory, the Hozi industry was completely safe from any sort of attack brought on by the Pendulum Wars - ignoring the minor declines of supply for the sources found in other countries or closer to the COG borders. Having an older brother working to take on the family business, Soqed was left with free choice on her own career path for life, having no worries about finances. Having been a born people person, Soqed went into the medical field, learning and studying her way through college until she earned her title of Doctor.
In what would be some of the final years of the Pendulum Wars, Soqed became focused on healing and rehabilitating wounded soldiers who were too injured for field medicine and sent back to the cities for intensive care. It was through the wounded men and women was she first exposed to the horrors of war. Although years of training taught her to keep a calm composure and work through the blood, she was terrified on the inside, and gave perhaps one of the heaviest sighs when the Pendulum Wars came to a bloody end.
Unfortunately, peace did not last long. When the Locust invaded the surface, the city Soqed worked in was hit and hit hard. The surprise attack killed thousands of people in an instant, and left the rest scrambling. In the chaos, higher valued people were evacuated out of the city, and having a very influential father Soqed was one of the first to escape the city after it's attacks. As she pleaded to go back and help those left behind, COG had made it's greatest sin and began burning down cities with Hammer of Dawn strikes, leaving Soqed nothing to return to. Though she was horrified by their actions, she came to realize where her next step in life was - helping those still left and stranded by the COG. Unfortunately, the only way she could accomplish this was by suiting up in COG equipment.
Catch! {equipment is thrown to you}: Sawed-Off Shotgun, Gorgon Burst Pistol; No Helmet
Got any special talents?: Having several years of experience as a doctor, Soqed has become an 'unofficial' field medic. While most doctors are put into any and every hospital that's still running, Soqed had kept her medical experience to herself when signing up to join the COG army. After she was in, she started to show off her talents and began providing proper and full medical aid to fallen comrades and Strandeds, giving a slight advantage to her team in ways of injuries and gaining trust to rightfully untrusting Strandeds.
Take these. {a set of dog tags in the shape of two cogs are given to you} For those she cannot save on the field, Soqed takes on and feels mass guilt, even if the situation was out of her hands and not her fault.
