Clan: Senju (One of the 3 Oni clans that exist)
Age: 19
Gender/Race: Male Hybrid (Human - Oni)
Job: Onimusha, but he is considered to be one of the 7 greatest swordsman all over Japan.
Weapon: A katana called "Yamato", it was a memento of his father for him. Everyone says that the katana is a very special weapon as it has the power to absorb the souls of defeated genmas and humans. Also the katana seems to have a secret that even Akoji dont know...
Personality: Easy going and very relaxed, Akoji is a kind hearted man but sometimes people tend to abuse of his kind heart. He can be very lazy but when the time requires it, like in a battle, he can get very serious.
Bio:It was a stormy night as the rain keep pouring down in a village near the mountains. At the entrance, someone walked as the wounds on his body were bleeding and forced him to go down, when a thunder came down, the lightning shown a creature that wasnt human but also it wasnt a Genma, it was an Oni. The villagers where afraid of the creature, but despite that a woman helped the wounded Oni and took care of him until he recovered compleately. 1 year later the Oni had to leave the village so he could join once again his comrades in the battle against the Genma, but he promised the woman that when the war was over he would come back to her. After 10 years, the woman had lost all faith in the Oni, when one night at a lake that was near the village, the creature appeared again and this time he said that he wouldnt leave the village. Many years passed and finally the woman whose name was Kajura Senju gave birth to a baby boy, the Oni and Kajura named the boy Akoji.

Peace ruled over the village as the Oni protected them from the genmas, but one day a great invasion of demons attacked the villages that were near the mountains, destroying them and creating a barricade of Genmas arround the village where the Oni was. Aftter many years of living there, the Oni finally explained the real reason he came to the village the first time, it was an order from his God as he was in charge of protecting a sword that could stop the genma war if it began again. It appeared that the orb where Nobunaga's soul was had shattered and now he had ordered his demons to destroy that sword. When they finally reached the village, the Oni faced them, giving some time to kajura to escape from there with Akoji who still was a baby. Kajura also took the sword with her, as the Oni told her that no matter what, that sword couldnt be in the hands of the genmas. The childhood of Akoji was marked by constant travels and many changes of names, as he was told by his mother that he was the last one of the Senju clan, but he should never speak about that.

One night, Kajura and Akoji were ambushed by some Genmas. Kajura did her best to protect Akoji but the genmas were by far more in numbers, but something that she didnt expected happened. Akoji took the sword that his father gave to Kajura and used it to slain all the genmas, it appeared that the fighting habilities and inhuman powers of the Oni had been transfered to Akoji. As time passed, Akoji discovered that he wasnt a normal kid as he also was able to somehow control lightning, a thing that helped him to defeat genmas. Unfortunately, the travels and many other things were the begening of a illness for Kajura, who finally died when Akoji was only 14. Since then Akoji made a promise to his mother and also to himself, he would be the one that finally defeats Nobunaga and put an end to this Genma war once and for all...
Likes: Fighting against strong people, sleeping, thunder storms and eating a lot
Dislikes: Genmas, Nobunaga, people that kills other people and also people who hates Onis.
Other: Akoji is one of the few hybrids that posses the "Devil Gene", an unique characteristic that comes from his ancestor the "Dark God", the Oni that defeated Fortinbras. This gene gives Akoji the superhuman habilities he have like inhuman strengh, speed and also the fact that he heals at a greater speed than anyone. Despite beeing an Onimusha, Akoji still cant use the Oni transformation, only time will tell when he can transform. The fact that Akoji can create and use lightning with his attacks has given him the nickname of "Lightning Oni". The whole Genma empire offers a great bounty for his head, also people are scared of him because any place he goes he has the strange luck of destroying the whole place.

Name: Emi Kasuga
Clan: ??
Age: 19
Gender: Female human
Job: Thief/Assasin, A master in disguise.
Weapon: A short sharp knife usually concealed inside her clothing, a fan that was sharp blades inside it and a retractable Naginata
Personality: She takes her work very seriously, and will stop at nothing to get the job though. While she's off the job, she's quite outgoing, playful, and enjoys excitement. She is gluttonous as well, and tends to take in more then what a normal person should. She can be a bit sarcastic at times in a good and bad way.
Bio: Emi was left on the streets by her parents and was raised by some thieves who picked her up. She doesn't know who here parents are or where she came from, but only that her name was Emi, because she was left with a bracelet with the name "Emi" on it. Kasuga is just the name of the person who saved her from the streets. The thieves trained her to become an expert assassin and thief. She's quite fast, and knows a few tricks here and there. She loved them as if they were her family. However during a mission they were attacked by a sudden ambush of Genma's and Emi was pushed into the sea to save herself.
Now she just wanders the world looking for good paying jobs, and with the will to destroy any Genma in her path. But the jobs she takes often get her in trouble and she's wanted in most parts of feudal japan.

Dislikes: Rain, Genma's, Idiots, people who get in her way
Other: Emi takes on different appearances often, because she's a wanted person due to the jobs she take. One of her favorite jobs is when she get's to disguise as a Geisha of some sort.

(This character I'm not going to be much/he's not going to have his own posts; I just thought I should add him in. He just a character that'll pop up every now and then nothing serious. Just a useless side character.)

Job: Bounty Hunter
Weapon: a light gun, and a sharp katana,
Personality: Carefree, an idiot, friendly, lazy,gambler
Bio: Satoshi is a bounty hunter that is known for taking on bounty's that aren't even worth the pay, he'll take on any bounty. He's a greedy money lover. He brings a bunch of money with him for gambling, drinking and what not. He was with a team of other bounty hunters to searching for the lighting Oni. Until he got his money pick-pocketed by a girl with a low bounty named Emi Kasuga. He's currently trying to find her and get his money back
Likes: Money, Gambling, Drinking, Hunting, Sleeping, animals
Dislikes: Hot weather, tea, anything too sweet, pick-pockets, thieves, people with bounty's.
Other: He has an EXTREME fondness for animals that it has caused him to be a vegetarian.

Clan: He isn't part of one
Age: 175 but looks about 18
Gender/Race: Oni
Job: He makes a living as a mystic and a seer, often selling spells and fortunes that tend to backfire unless he is feeling charitable.
Weapon: His weapons tend to be the cards and runes he uses for his fortunes, but when need be he also has an old staff made from a mix of unknown wood and bone with magical symbols carved into it. He tends to rely on a magic based on spiritual and underworldly called Chthonic Magic.
Personality: Demios is a relatively spontaneous person and tries not to be quick to judge others although he has been known to come across that way. He is a person who has been known to be ruled by his emotions, but tries to keep them in check. Although slow to anger he has a bit of an explosive temper. Has been known to be a bit of a realist and can be seen as dark at times. He enjoys making deals and bets, and uses his abilities to turn them to his favor.
Bio: When you have lived as long as Demios has sometimes the years blend together. You make friends and enemies and then have to watch them grow move on and die, at least the human ones. It is because of this Demios has refused to get close to people. For the majority of his lifetime Demios has been alone, living at the edge of society and taking his jealousy and boredom out on any passing soul who seeks his aid. Every so often he is struck by sympathy and he helps them with his skills without consequence. His homes tend to be most often in forests and outskirts of towns and that was if he had a home at the time at all. However, there is a plus side to his lonely lifestyle he has had a long time to train and refine his abilities and has a strong connection to the source of his powers.

Other: He loves blackbirds and has one as a pet, legend has it his home when he has one can be located by the abundance of blackbirds and that can be a sign foretelling his arrival.

Personality: Warm-hearted and nature loving, but he is silent and reserved in combat.
Bio: He was young when his parents were killed. With no one to guide him, he roamed around the world, looking for a purpose. Upon threading the Pacific, the ship he was riding was wrecked by a violent storm. A few days later, he drifted to the shores of an unknown land. When he got up, he was surrounded by bandits who were ready to loot him. Along his journeys, he learned to fight. His favorite swordplay is that of a Samurai, Bushido. He unsheated his swords and made mince meat out of the bandits. He wonders around the foreign land, searching for a purpose.

Other: He named his katanas 'Fate' and 'Destiny' because he believes that destiny and fate, like weapons, could be manipulated.
