Jakotsu724 MadHatHuntress Jakotsu724 MadGoblinHattressAza Jakotsu724 MadGoblinHattressAza Sammy (my cat) is eight years old while my mom's cat is six years old, though we only got him a couple of years back (rescue cat). Next to my cats, I have two dogs. Mellie is a Shepard/something else I can't remember, and my grandma's dog, Biscuit, is what we call a porky (I can't remember the breed!). Both are ten years old.
So, how old is your cat?
She's eleven, going on twelve this year. You wouldn't know it, looking at her - she still looks like she's around four or five. Along with her, I've got two dogs myself, both around six years old. Raven is a black lab, and Eris is a pit bull. Porky? That sounds like it would make a cute breed name. I vote that it be made official. Wow! She must be a pretty healthy cat then. I love black labs! I've had a few friends who had black labs, and they were so sweet.
Porky should be an official breed name! (I just remembered my grandma's dong's breed- a pekingese yorkie. Hense, porky. Lol).
She is. Out of the three cats I've had, she's the only one that hasn't had any health problems. (Which would explain why she's the only one left, but I digress.) They really are! Although I think with Raven it's more a case of trying to be cute so she can get food. XD; That's her prime motivation for everything. I just looked up Porkies (It's official. They're Porkies now.); they're so cute! My goodness, Biscuit must be adorable!! That's great that she is healthy. My family and I haven't had the greatest luck with older cats. Our first one, as soon as she hit 12, we found out that she had cancer and had to put her down. The next year, we found that another cat of ours had cancer as well and to put him down as well. Hopefully, Sammy and Haku will be healthy old cats when they get there so we can break the curse. And Lol! That's exactly how Mellie is! And isn't that a prime motivation for any dog? XD Biscuit is pretty cute (when she isn't biting me or anyone else that comes close to her food bowl..). Here, I'll show a picture of her and the rest of out animals. This is Mellie: This is Biscuit: This is Sammy: And finally, here's Haku: (Sorry about the picture size). That's awful. But it's better that they're not suffering anymore. (I know how you feel. My first cat we had to euthanize at thirteen because of sodium oxilate crystals causing urinary problems, and maybe bladder damage. When we got our third at six years old, we found out that he had a form of carcinoma as well as kidney problems. His kidneys began to grow worse when he hit eleven to the point where he was getting dehydrated, and nothing we used to help him worked, so we had no other choice but to put him down.) Good point. X3 Aaaaw; they're all so cute. Here are mine: Raven. A spoiled little brat, she is. This one is Eris. She's more of a mama's girl than Raven; follows my mother wherever she goes. And this is my Mina. (Not the easiest picture to get. I was in the basement for literally ten minutes trying to get a good one. She wouldn't stop moving!) (No worries. Why does Photobucket like such large images?) Your animals are so cute!! Raven looks like she's a bit spoiled, and Eris (cool name btw!) looks like a sweetheart! Mina (another cool name!) is so pretty. Lol, yeah my cats don't exactly have a problem with getting their pictures taken- they see a camera and they pose for it. XD (Maybe because Photobucket wants you to see every detail in a picture? Beats me.)

But that ended up working perfectly, since she's a little hyper at times and has an incontinence problem. 'Mina', whom I got in elementary school, was named after Sailor Venus. (On another medical note, we went to the vet last night, and turns out she has hyperthyroidism. To date, Raven is the one pet we've had that has never had a health issue.) Lucky you! XD I'd kill for just one shot of Mina where she's not rolling on her back or walking all over the place. (Yes. Because every last pixel must be appreciated.)

If you want to read more about Greek mythology (at the very least), I recommend 'The Metamorphoses' by Ovid. It kind of ties together many of the myths, but gives a LOT of detail into speeches by random people. Very perceptive, madame~ And it's kind of bad... She's down to about 6.7 pounds from her original twelve, and her thyroid level, I believe the vet called it, was little over twice the average. Thankfully, we've got her on some pills and a high-fat wet cat food diet, which will hopefully work. Haku, you silly boy. X3 Named for Haku from 'Naruto', am I wrong?

I'll check into that when I have the time (I'm bloody busy this month- have to make a PowerPoint presentation for my adviser next month, have to start studying for my HSPE, and finally, have to have at least 15 hours of community service before my presentation...). Ouch! I hope she gets better soon! I hope the pills and diet will work. Lol, yes he is. And no, he isn't named from 'Naruto'. He's actually named from the movie 'Spirited Away'.
