[Open Class] What a Shocker (Bul) FAIL!

In an ambiguous time in an ambiguous place, a tall clumsy half beast Sauntered across the lovely grim school grounds with an ambitious heart. There was thought lately about something he may want to do with his future. Between the glorified job of a boogeyman and being a relentless disliked Trick or Treater, he was torn whether he should peruse what paid more but restricted its workers or what paid less and let its deviants run free?

Perusing either however would require a balance and quick eye far beyond his current lack thereof. A lot of classes were opening up but bul was still nervous about his abilities as a raw monster. Taking a cricket class without cricket might prove pretty interesting, maybe he would sign up for that one week? In the meantime Bul found himself at the foot of a great hill.

"Well this is where it said to go.."

Looking up from a sheet of paper he raised a brow and the clouds above roared loudly. His spines started to flatten. Wouldn't want one of those to catch a bolt of lightning!

Licking his lips he pulled his backpack up over his shoulder and buckled it tightly. Time to see if he had hair on his peaches.

Upon his ascent to the trecharous hill Bul got down on all forms and rather than change form, performed a bear run with his claws creating the perfect traction into the dirt (and hopefully prevented his tail from getting zapped!).

Left right, left right. Zig zag. Duck, dodge, dive, dip, dodge. These were all cool maneuvers and all but Bul was doing a straight up stampede across the hill. Panting nervously when he'd see a flash and get startled by an untimely clap of thunder. If the flashes of light didn't blind him, the sting from the cold rain pelting his eyes surely made it harder to see. Eventually Bul found it just easier to keep his eyes closed and use his other senses to proceed.

Perhaps lizards were not the most conductive of creatures in Halloween. At least he wasn't afraid of a little rain anymore. In fact with all this running he could barely tell juts how cold it was. He could feel the heat from the lightning as it trickled across the sky above him like a pair of claws reaching over the dark clouds. He'd also been sporting his grandma's lucky cat skeleton sweater (under his windbreaker of course where nobody on the campus could ever see it.)

Mud began to buildup between his fingers and toes and as much as he would enjoy it any other day, running with it was very difficult.

Some splashed across his face when he accidentally hit a puddle!

FAILURE!

No sooner did he notice the mud getting thicker when finally his lucky streak ended with a powerful bolt of lightning contacting his tail and sending his spines on end, dissipating him into nothing.

When he'd return to consciousness the boil would be sad to know that anyone in the infirmary at the time had indeed.
