[Open Class] Trial of Thunder Road 2.0 (Shun and Mitsu)[FIN]

General Information: Break believes that both agility and endurance is the best asset for a to trick or treater to have, so with the interest of looking for potential among the students he invites you all to try his course.

The Course: Thunder Road
A rocky, uneven road built to test the students and see how they handle themselves across rough terrain. Your student must run through the entire course, up hill, and keep running without stopping. If they slow their pace or come to a complete stop, they'll be struck by lightning and it will be the end of the line for them!

Course can be ran solo or in groups.

Win - You've survived five rounds of dice rolls and crossed the finish line!
Lose - If your HP has reached zero, there is a narrow path on each side of the course. Hop off onto it and exit the room. If insta-killed, you dissipate and wake-up in Nurse Cricket's Office.

Mechanics: Roll a one 8-sided die to determine the results your student will get and make sure to adjust your HP accordingly
Each time you survive a round, repeat the above until you complete the course.

Bonus Mechanics:
If you get a lousy roll, a Y2 or Y3 student may roll a one 6-sided die ( ONE TIME ONLY ) and attempt to evade the hit.

Y2 students must roll a 5 or 6 to evade the lightning.
Y3 students must roll an even number to evade the lightning.

- You are hit 0 HP That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

 

[Inu-Mitsu]

It had taken a bit to convince Mitsu to try the course again. Mostly it was due to the fact that Shun didn't want to just give up and was going to do it regardless. She really didn't want the reaper to do it alone hoping that perhaps she could help somehow. At least they would have each other as encouragement.

Slowly she made her way to the beginning of the course trying to steel her nerves as she looked over the rocky terrain trying to map out a course before they even started. "I...I guess better now than never." Never....never would have been good. She was still a little twitchy from the last time but she had to admit, Shun was right. Not all deaths were as bad as the fire. Still not good by any means but at least there wasn't the long suffering process.

With a deep breath Mitsu looked to Shun with a nod before she took off. Her feet carrying her quickly knowing she didn't want to get hit.

Shun was determined to conquer the thunder road, even if it meant getting electrocuted over and over again. He made the suggestion to Mitsu, but he wasn't going to pressure her into joining him. She had come on her own will.

At the bottom of the hill, he took in a deep breath and looked towards the wolf girl. With a light nod, he started to quickly make his way up with her, moving as swiftly as his body would take him.

Round 1

So far so good. Mitsu was doing well to keep out of harms way though she was hiding it hard to keep her footing. Looking to he side she saw Shun had made a good start as well. Though it was possible she should have kept her eyes in front of her. She lost her footing just slightly and as she stumbled a flash of lightening nearly blinded her, zapping her in the rear. It made her yelp kicking up her speed to hopefully avoid it again

Moving along, Shun was minding his footing as he made his way up the hill. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a bolt of lightning zap Mitsu.

"Mitsu! Are you alright?" he hissed out as he managed to not get struck yet.

Round 2

[Inu-Mitsu]

"I'm okay." Though perhaps she spoke too soon. Again Mitsu stumbled along her path at some point and it was like the lightening was just waiting for the right moment. Waiting for her steps could slow so that it could strike without mercy. Again she received a shock though thankfully it wasn't terrible. It was starting to make her twitchy though and she hoped she wouldn't get hit again or else it was going to be hard to run.

"S-S-Shun, are you d-d-doing okay?" She stuttered as she spoke, her muscles twitching a little outside of her control.

Making his way up further, Shun kept his eyes locked onto the top. When he heard Mitsu, he also saw, heard, and felt the next lightning strike. It had arced from her body to zap him a bit. That had hurt somewhat.

"Kuso..." he hissed as he felt the jolt run through him, "Yes.. Just hang in there!"

Round 3

[Inu-Mitsu]

"Okay!" She was nervous but she picked up the pace despite how her legs were protesting. The shocks were effecting the muscles in her legs now making it hard to move. The finish line was so close though. Just up ahead. They could make it!

They were getting close to the end. Determined to reach the top, Shun pressed on, only to let out a cry of pain as a bolt hit him square in the backside. Stumbling, his vision blurred from the massive hit, but he kept moving on to the best of his ability.

Almost there. He was almost there.

Round 4

[Inu-Mitsu]

Somehow Mitsu had done it. Her unsteady legs took her passed the end of the course and she nearly collapsed when she was on safe and level ground again. The fear of being shocked to death over she nearly collapsed landing on her hands and knees to catch her breath. That had been crazy.....absolutely crazy. But...she had done it. Her eyes lit up for a moment. She had...actually done it. There was a small swell of victory inside. A bit of pride that she could actually run the course and make it. Last time had caught her off guard but this time she had been a little more prepared.

Still, it didn't keep her from getting to her feet and turning around to try to encourage Shun. "Come on Shun!"

That last bolt had taken a lot out of the Reaper. The surge of electricity had caused his movements to become a little irregular. Essentially, the lightning had stunned him to an extent. Shun was nearing the end when another bolt struck his leg, bringing him down.

It hadn't killed him, but he didn't feel like he could run or climb the hill any longer.

"Kuso..." he hissed as he shakily pushed himself up. He had failed.

Looking up, he saw that Mitsu had at least made it to the end. There was a sense of pride that he felt for her, along with a disappointment for himself. Watching her up there for a moment, he limped on towards the path down the side of the hill.

Seeing the last bolt of lightening hit made Mitsu's heart clench tight. She could only watch as Shun moved off to the safe path to the side to make his way back down the hill. Quickly she moved to the path to follow wanting to make sure he was okay.
