[1v1] Holla Back Girls (Cady v. Savior)

It was the perfect day to go to the gym, Cady decided.

It was pouring down rain outside, for one - a condition she found uncomfortably close to bathing - so adventuring in the great outdoors was no longer an option. For two, the mountain of homework she had been neglecting had now piled so high that it threatened to topple. As someone who was Very Serious about Personal Safety, she felt it was in her best interest to evacuate the premises, that being her dorm. She hoped that, upon her return, she would find it had in fact been eaten by a grue*.

In the meantime, sparring practice seemed a good idea, so she sniffed around for a likely opponent. Why did it suddenly smell of.... citrus?


*In reality, it was far more likely that it would be devoured by one of her manticats. However, this writer would like to interject that 'eaten by a manticat' sounds significantly less ominous.

SAVIOR LIKED THE GYM even though she didn't know it was called a gym. She only knew that when she was in the building people liked to punch and kick each other like it was going out of style, something she vastly approved of.

Also, it was raining and, as much as Savior liked the rain, she was getting muddy standing around in her sand puddles. Being inside afforded her a chance to run around and climb on things (lately she'd enjoyed climbing) and then it also afforded her the chance to pounce. Someone had come inside. Savior was going to pounce on them from her weird spot.

Fortunately, Cady's cadysenses tingled, and with superhuman speed she tried to pounce the pouncer.

Unfortunately, she ended up smashing into the wall next to her would-be assailant.

"Hi, I'm Cady, WANNA FIGHT?" she managed to belt out as she slid comically down the wall.

"OKAY. SAVIOR." Someone was lunging at her and Savior decided that she was gonna punch whatever it was with her leg. That meant kick it but whatever she was gonna do what a Savior had to do.

Kinda like men did whatever a man had to do.

Which was kick s**t.

And then suddenly Cady didn't have a leg to stand on.

Literally.

So she stagger-limped toward her impromptu opponent instead, yelling incoherently and flailing with her arms. Somehow, she managed to get in a few scratches.

OKAY HEY THIS PERSON WAS ACTUALLY FIGHTING BACK? Or hobbling back it was really hard for Savior to tell and to be honest she wasn't trying that hard to notice anyway. Instead she just kicked out at the person before her and smiled beneath her mask as her leg made contact.

Good times, good times. She liked the feel of kicking something's head in, or at least just putting her foot somewhere on their body.

Not again! Cady grunted in pain. How was it that these deceptively frail looking ghouls always put the beat down on her?

Hissing, she raised her tail and tried to strike back. She missed however, and the tip of her tail buried itself in the floor instead.

What where they trying to do? Savior watched as her opponent came closer, tried to do something, and then nothing happened. She frowned, hard, and took a few steps towards the other girl at a slow but steady pace.

At the last second she shifted her weight onto her back leg and jumped forward, getting a good press on the ground so that when she landed she cold pivot her foot. The bones inside were vibrating, making a strong and heavy noise, and it gave her power behind her kick.

Wherever it landed on Cady the kick was going to be strong and nice.
