He's actually quite a good person at heart, but a little distant as he's afraid of getting close to anyone. His friends know that he's practically selfless when it comes to the safety of his close ones. He's a little clumsy, and bashful even on his best days, but he's adorable when you actually get to know him. He's loyal to a fault and is easily flustered if you know the right things to say. ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ He doesn't remember much of his life before the mountains and being taken in by Abel, his monster. He doesn't remember the faces of the people he called parents, nor does he remember if he had any family at all. He just remembers the harsh cold and the biting wind; nearly being buried six feet deep in snow; trudging up the mountain side alone because everyone had been too scared to send him off properly. He can't even recall their faces; he was either too young or he doesn't want to remember them. He remembers nearly giving up half-way when he suddenly felt warm and someone picked him up, tucking him inside their arm, and bringing him the rest of the journey.
He woke up at his destination, where he came face to face with his monster; Abel Legend; a dragon who could shift between his monster and human form at will. For the next ten years, Abel took Nico under his wing [pun not intended], and taught him how to fight and protect himself, toughening him up for the challenges ahead. Nico and Abel grew close, despite the monster's horribly inappropriate language and impatient temper, and Nico's painful shyness. As Nico couldn't quite recall his family, Abel gave him his last name and the two became closer than brothers. Ten years later, and now Abel is confident that Nico has what it takes to participate in the Scorn games... ⓁⒾⓀⒺⓈ➸

► Flame-thrower :: Abel breathes a column of fire at his opponent, singeing anything near it that is flammable.
► Ignis Cross :: Abel draws a cross in mid-air using fire, which creates a fiery shield around himself or the person of his choice.
► Inferno's Guardian :: Abel can coat himself with fire and attack bare-handed, or with a weapon; which is usually a pair of daggers attached to chains.
► Hell's Calling :: Causes a great big explosion of fire that can melt literally anything. Very damaging, but he can't choose his targets; and he will never use this if Nico is within range of the damage. And considering that the two of them stick together like twins...well... ⑤ Future lessons whatever your monster has learn in the roleplay
► Will learn how to control Hell's Calling from harming the ones he doesn't want to hurt.
► Gains more experience with his weapons, and gains new moves.

And is pretty rude to other people. A basic spoiled brat he always gets what he wants. And when he doesn't he tends to become bitter and scour towards others. Honestly finding it aggravating to ask for things, he always takes without asking. Assuming he can have it because he wants it. A twisted type of person he tends to be a bit cruel to other people. And maybe a little sadistic towards cute things(Men, women ect). Not in the terrible sense of torture, he likes to toy with others. Their emotions and so forth. Some people may question that he is a sociopath. But in truth he just likes to appear that way. Always saying he is high than anyone. When in fact he feels the exact opposite. And appearing to have no remorse for anything he does. The two things being a major thing to look out for in sociopaths.
However, Gilbert has proven in some cases that he is in fact a regular person. He just likes people to think that he is a sociopath so they stay out of his way. And they don't get put on his 'list' of people he wants to kill. In truth he is just to lazy to care about it. ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ Born in the city, Gilbert grew up in a basic foster home family. A house full of constantly moving children and their monsters. Gilbert just being a lost shadow in the wind. They hardly even noticed when Gilbert disappeared for a few weeks. Some of the kids thought about him, but they only thought that he moved on. And no one reported him missing. Where he went to be honest he could hardly tell himself. He did do manual labor however. For some monsters it seemed. His own apparently sold him out to a slave trade for humans. A tough thing to really look at. Gilbert didn't know better, and he rebelled against the monsters terribly. Always whining and complaining about the work. Often getting beaten or starved for acting in such a manor.
Soon enough his monster grew bored with Gilbert's torture. Helping him escape from the hell hole Gilbert returned to his foster home. Going about like nothing had happened. An interesting story he told the other children. Who only though Gilbert was a liar. He just laughed at them in return before he went about his life again. Bored most of the time. Trying to find something to cure his boredom. Only finding that sleeping satisfied him. If he slept he wasn't bored and he wasn't doing anything. Something he would take over anything.
Once he turned eight teen his monster told him of the Scorn games. And how he was to participate in them. Gilbert was skeptical, but simply laughed it off. And allowed his monster to take him on another journey. ⓁⒾⓀⒺⓈ➸
