NAME OF CLASS: Make a legal document and...
PROFESSOR NAME Professor Q. B.

General information: Professor Q. B. is a renowned Halloween citizen that has traveled both Halloween and the Human World in their study of the Fear arts and has guest lectured in many established Halloween academies. Their specialty is of course, helping manifest Fear to a stronger form in desperate battle situations. Students will be learning how to make themselves stronger by invoking their hidden powers within!

Mechanics: The course itself is simply a classroom, with no chairs, or tables, or anything, in fact, it seems to be just one big white room. There is a large black swirling hole at the base of the room and upon jumping in-

- You suddenly feel very magical. You are wearing way more colour than you are used to, and good Jack, are those frills? Yes all boys yes, yes you are also wearing a skirt.

Before you can ponder this horrible and slightly traumatic change of events, you look around: you seem to be in a strange bizzare dimension where everything seems jaunty and disjointed. An eerie chanting echoes in the background along with what seems like thousands of ringing bells. Small equally disjointed creatures, some sporting entirely random limbs but no head, others with only a pair of eyes, a nose, even just a single eye scuttle by, brushing against your legs. As you take a step forward, the path in front of you begins to warp and spin, colours turning into shapes and into shadows, the cycle repeating spontaneously and endlessly.

At last, after what seems like forever, you reach the end. A creature awaits you: for each person it is different, at first it is simply a large butterfly unfurling its wings as it attempts to break out of its chrysalis until what emerges is what students themselves fear the most, from their relatives, to an Amityville professor, to even a Hunter. The outline however, of the shape, blurs and distorts, at times it is that figure, at other times, it is simply a blur of black shadows and uneven colours and textures.

And then, as you feel you are being consumed by the figure, everything blurring together at once into a mound of chaos, you can't even remember who you are, until a voice calls to you.

"Invoke your Fear, remember yourselves, and fight back!"

Intimidated, you take a step back, and then realize, in a circle around you is a ring of simple swords. If you are a reaper, you may choose to use your own weapon instead and summon it at this point. You hear the voice again, telling you to manifest your Fear into the sword to make it work, and you try to focus, focusing your powers, attempting to transfer your Fear ability onto the blade. Finally, some success, the blade of the sword flickers, weakly, with an aura corresponding to your own Fear. As you swing it experimentally, the sword unleashes an arc of your Fear, from a shadowy dark black to a flaming blaze of fire, or even just even a stronger blow that knocks everything back. You feel powerful, and the music in the background seems to have changed to something a little more upbeat.

ROUND 1
ROUND 1: VERSUS THE FAMILIARS

- You are fighting the strange things scuttling around your legs, the boss is still too far away! You use your sword to strike them around you, satisfied as some scuttle away.
- You must rp out each post
- You need to clear 5 waves of familiars. Roll 2d12 and subtract 6 from the result, you CANNOT use your Fear attack (as this is manifesting/combined with your sword at the moment). You cannot heal or do anything other than roll the 2d12 -6.
- If your rolled result is higher than a 6 you clear one wave.
- Every time you roll, you take 3 damage, even if you miss! Make sure at the bottom of each of your rolls to post your damage you do (success or miss) and then your total hp value.
- After five SUCCESSFUL clears you move on to round 2. BEFORE CLEARING YOU GET A FREE HEAL. Roll 2d20 to determine your heal.
- If you hit 0 HP you immediately warp out! You are back in the white room, and have to TRY EVERYTHING AGAIN.

ROUND 2
ROUND 2: VERSUS THE BOSS
- The boss seems to practically be waiting for you. Its one disjointed arm summons you forward, its figure suddenly focused. You feel as if you are fighting your greatest opponent, and that in this moment of desperation, every move you made mattered.
- You must rp out each post
- THE BOSS HAS 50 HP. Roll 2d12 and subtract 6 from the result, you CANNOT use your Fear attack (as this is manifesting/combined with your sword at the moment). You cannot heal or do anything other than roll the 2d12 -6. At the end of each roll post, make sure to post your current HP, and the HP of the boss.
- Every time you roll, you take 5 damage from the boss, even if you miss!
- If you hit 0 HP you immediately warp out! You are back in the white room, and have to TRY EVERYTHING AGAIN.
- If the boss HP hits 0, you have defeated it! If you AND the boss hit 0, there is a moment of silence, the boss takes one step back and... you are warped back before you see the result ): too bad you have to try again (fail).

YOU DEFEATED THE BOSS AND...

- The boss simple freezes up, the world around you stopping, the colours bleeding to black. Then, with a loud crackle and a whoosh, everything condenses together into one small object. As you go to examine it, the object itself splits in two, a small shadow escaping from it before dissipating into nothingness. On the bright side, the music has also stopped and you are at least dressed normally again.

You don't notice the pair of blinking red eyes staring at you from the corner, or do you?

Bonus Mechanics
Bonus Mechanics:
- If you are a REAPER or DEMON you do an additional +1 damage after damage calculations to everything.
- If you are an UNDEAD or MONSTER you do - 1 damage after damage calculations to everything
- If you are a GHOST you take -1 damage every time you roll

YOU COMPLETE THE CLASS WHEN

You defeat the boss, duh

Familiars: Round 1

Amarus was wearing a skirt. A very ruffly, bright skirt. Amarus had so many frills on her she wasn't sure she should even be expected to wield her FEAR ever again-- it was repulsive, really, in all senses of the word. Amarus really only dressed the one way, in her normal clothing, and seldom thought much about fashion. She could try, maybe, but these clothes were so comfortable.

There was no way she would ever be caught spectral in this outfit. Still, whatever, she was a warrior. A warrior could fight in anything. She hoped. And when she entered the creepy alternate dimension, seized the sword, and manifested her FEAR into the blade, she had even more faith in this endeavour. The blade glowed a flickering pink-purple, just like her natural aura.

When she swung it in an arc, the glow curled up in flames which licked the air. This could work. This could really work.

The first wave of familiars was fairly easy to dispatch.

Familiars: Round 2

Amarus could do nothing but slice and slash at the creatures which approached her, always trying to progress. Sometimes she managed to hit them dead on. Other times, they had run away from her blade before she could connect with satisfaction. It was perhaps the glow alerting them to the blade, everything flickering under the glow.

This outfit was itchy.

Familiars: Round 3

The third wave of creatures, scuttling over and over again. She could use her ghostly nature to dull some of the pain, but there were just so many of them that even while she was driving them back constantly they were still hurting her now and again. Maybe if she had armour instead of this weird dress thing.

Not that she usually wore armour. Taking a deep breath, Amarus muttered something obscene very quietly and continued to hack at the hordes before her.

Familiars: Round 4

Was there any end to them? "There jacking well better be," Amarus muttered to herself. She had now taken to kicking some of them like toys, while simultaneously hacking the blade at the hordes in circles.

Maybe if she used all her available limbs she could clear them faster.

Familiars: Last Round

Flailing in a circle was actually more tiring than it would be to just fight properly. Amarus stopped being ridiculous, and despite being a little sore and tired by this point. She gripped the sword firmly in both hands and chopped and hacked.

In her mind, she even started to sing an off-key song, which manifested in reality. "Monsterssss, monstersss, if you don't move I'll hack you to pieces~"

It wasn't a pretty sight. Amarus could not carry a tune if it was strapped to her.

Heal Break

Amarus took a deep breath, realizing that she'd managed to kill all the creatures. For the time being. Perhaps now she would face what must be her true foe..? Except as she rested, she felt something replenishing her energy. She felt happy, rejuvenated. Amarus allowed her Lotus-Eater aura to soothe her as she accepted this warm feeling.

Maybe she could make it out of here in one piece. But if the first round was that difficult and endless, what would the boss be like...?

Boss Battle

Whatever it was like, it was beckoning her forward. Amarus wasn't sure what to expect. She circled around the foe, feeling like there was a great sense of purpose behind this battle, and attempted to study his moves. Except he wasn't moving just yet...

She started in, swinging her blade towards it. It blocked, easily, and Amarus felt shamed at how careless she had been. That could end very badly, in a normal combat situation. She darted back, and not for the first time cursed the ruffled dress.

Still, she ran around to slash at it from the back. While the hit was solid, one of its arms managed to hit her across the back, winding her briefly.

Boss Battle

Amarus didn't stay down for the count for very long. She couldn't afford to.

Without thinking twice, she sprang up into the air and slashed downwards with the blade. It pushed her back with a firm blow, and she had to flip and pick herself up, sword in hand. Amarus charged the boss, then, with a cry, ramming the sword towards its chest. It stuck in, before he pulled it out, looking slightly irritated and bewildered.

A good, respectable hit.

Boss Battle

In withdrawing the blade, she managed to get hit briefly by her own sword's hilt. It felt extremely unpleasant. Taking a moment to circle around the boss and think about her next move, she tried to recover her calm and senses.

Finally, she gripped the hilt firmly and slashed at its arms, which were guarding its face. The hit didn't do much, as it managed to grab the blade and hold it for a moment.

Boss Battle

Finally, the boss started to move on the offensive. It charged her, with a disgruntled expression and some kind of howl. "Guess there's no way we can call a truce, is there? No?" She joked around. Slipping down, so that she was low enough to avoid his charge, Amarus held the blade upwards and skimmed it along the boss as it overshot.

It roared with anger, and Amarus grinned to herself. Too bad it had also managed to rake her arm and make it more than a little sore.

Boss Battle

As soon as he missed, however, he was right back towards her. Amarus rolled to her feet, as fast as she could. The boss grabbed at her, latching on to one ankle. It shook her violently, trying to make her drop the sword.

She held fast, and struck out at its wrist, causing at least a bit of damage.

She was feeling incredibly rattled at this point, however...

Boss Battle

With a second, meek slash, her sword darting out to hack at its wrist again, it finally dropped her. Amarus, however, hit her head on the way down, and felt extremely dizzy. How long could she possibly hold out like this? She planted her feet solidly, and prepared herself for one last blow.

In her mind, she pictured the Kuji-kiri for power. One strike. She needed one good, strong blow-- even if that was all she could do, if she could hold on for as long as possible, that would have to be enough.

Boss Battle

Silent, furious and swift, Amarus descended upon the boss one last time, mustering whatever energy she had left. Her previous injuries were enough to cause her more damage, but this time... she would strike true. She would not let a clumsy hit in. She slashed her FEAR sword towards her opponent. After a long, long pause, the boss plummeted to the ground.

VICTORYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Amarus did her best not to scream in delight. After the boss had vanished, a weird object dropped and split in two... what the hell was this for? She'd actually won though, and that was extremely satisfying.
