Karuda wasted no time in forming complex handseals "Chidori!" he shouted, speeding toward Armand, as he fled from the soundwave. He saw Armand initiate his ninjutsu, and thanks to the Sharingan, had reaction time. He quickly turned upward and held the Chidori above his hand, it would attract the lightning to his hand. His hand acted as a conductor, drawing the lightning in. Karuda honestly thought this would completely ******** his hand but save the rest of him from the strike. He was even lucker then that. Because their attacks were roughly the same power, Karuda's hand was painfully shocked and slightly numbed, but it didn't do much overall damage... The downside was, of course, his Chidori was cancelled out too. He simply put his hand forward "Sadaka Zetsumei!" he said, focusing much of his chakra into the attack. It was a Genjutsu that caused the opponent's body to really think it was dying, causing much more pain then any genjutsu in recorded history. It would either immobilise it's foes with the pain or else knock them unconscious. Karuda had actually never been pushed far enough to use this jutsu, he made a mental note to congratulate Armand, later.

XXXXX Armand cursed. At once he could see the chakra, with the sharingan, heading towards him. It was quick and sudden, and then suddenly...he felt an incredible pain. Worse than having his eyes ripped out and replaced without using anesthesia. He ran as far as he could, using Kai to slightly offset the pain. It didn't vanish it, but it got him closer to Karuda. As he got closer, the pain began to pick back up and he skidded to a halt, falling on his knees. He still could move his arms, despite the incredibly pain. He used this to form a seal and "aim" down its sights. Armand couldn't think of anything else to do. There was the C0 clay, but its counter was obvious, and the ways to avoid it were numerous. "Shintenshin no Jutsu (Mind Body Change Technique)!" That was the reason for closing the distance. It would allow him to aim better and have a better chance at striking Karuda with his "spirit". And since it was so rare and different than just a simple chakra mechanic, Armand hypothesized that Karuda's sharingan would have a difficult time deciphering it. With this technique, it could save him from the pain and get him out of his body. Using Karuda's body, he could not only release himself from outside, but also deal with Karuda. Granted, this was only if the last-ditch effort worked.

Karuda watched as Armand struggled forward, "Impressive, most non-genjutsuists, even Kage, would struggle to waggle their toes in that jutsu" he said. His Sharingan saw the jutsu, but having never fought a Yamanaka, he couldn't read the Chakra's signature, well enough to interpret the attack. He saw a burst of chakra, but then were was nothing... "s**t, what the heck?" Karuda said... People didn';t just let off blasts of chakra for no reason. He formed handseals "Hebihada Karawimi" he said, using the technique to gauge Armand's attack on the empty skin, while retreating backward.

However he wasn't gonig to just dodge... He used his Sharingan to pinpoint Armand, forming handseals "Katon: Shinhidora no jutsu!" he said, sending the S Ranked triple headed dragon roaring toward Armand.

XXXXX Armand's "soul" sort of watched as his body was turned to smoldering ash. It was painless, since all his feeling and mind were out of it. It didn't keep flying forward and was sort of "yanked" from its path and given freedom to fly around. Twirling around Karuda, he tried his best to say: "If this is real death, your a** is haunted for an eternity." In a few moments, he felt himself being lifted up towards the sky.
