Ich haff wenig bis gar keine. Ich do mein business unt until recently Ich drank. Now Ich just do business, read. Ich vork on mein Englisch." He takes a few puffs of his pipe. "Ich wiess nicht go to shows. Amerikanischen Shows haben no... Eh..." He pauses, stuggling for a word. "Ze have no passione, Ja?" The word that was chosen had a fluent Italian accent.

Francesca Gattarini Francesca leaned back in her chair looking across the room to scan it. Nothing seemed out of place but she had a weird feeling something wasn't right. She was wondering how much more muscle she would need to keep her claim on a slice of the action. She would find out soon enough and she knew her old family connections would certainly be of use, even if she was trying to go out on her own.

John Dillinger John made his way into Hatshepsut's place, managing to stay relatively under the radar as he took a seat. Who was he looking for again? A Shreck? He would have to keep his eyes open.

Johnathan Hartman "Here for only a month you say? Already you have a store and what seems to be plenty of free time to... practice your English, as you say. Quite a stroke of luck, if you don't mind me saying so." This guy was more crooked than the paintings in the gallery of a cross-eyed curator. There was no way to touch him this way. Either he was smart and calculated, knowing exactly what he was doing; insane to the point of being a sociopath; or just a plain old idiot savant. I couldn't lay a finger on him any which way. Not without having something on him, something solid, something that would stick. It looks like I'd have to go on a stake out and hope to win the lottery. "Well Mr. Shreck, if you'll excuse me, I have other business to attend to tonight."

Francesca Gattarini She could not be sure, but she thought she may be looking at a legend of her time. A man who fought not jsut the local flat foots and won but he beat hoover and his boys as well. She looked around at the men at the table with her. "Uncle, Jesse tell me do you recognize the man who just walked in? He looks like Dillinger form the papers!" She was breathless if he frequented her club the notoriety would mean more of the upper crust visiting to see how the underworld lived. Perfect, simply perfect!

Shayla Fagan Shayla walked into the club and was amazed. It was much more upscale than The Harlequin or at least its gaudiness hinted at that. She did recognize a few faces from The Harlequin but perhaps they just were bar flies and were always in some rum pot or other. rearranging the bundle under her arm she proceeded towards the back of the bar. Like most places she visited she was only here to drop off some costumes that she had mended for the club and to pick up a check. Mending may not bring home as much bacon as making costumes but then again everything was already sized and she didn't have to sit for hours with all the clucking chorus girls, which to her mind was a good thing. times hard as they were it shocked her that getting a rich man to give you nice things was as far as their minds could go, but then again perhaps those were just the sort that were drawn to wriggle and with for strangers to gawk at. Shayla however was quite content to be a ghost, all the drama she had seen had made her realize how fatal sticking out could be. The stage manger was sitting by himself enjoying a cigar and some scotch when she approached. When she placed the bundle on the table beside him, the manager cut the twine binding the brown paper and did a quick inspection. Finding it all in order he pulled out his bill fold and gave Shayla her pay. Shayla smiled and thanked him for the business and being sure to tell him she looked forward to future work, she started to work her way back towards the door. Easily in but not easily out she thought as she looked across the room. It was now six at night and people were starting to pour into the place to see and be seen. Shayla however just wanted to disappear.

Shayla Fagan Shayla stopped in her tracks, it was the German again. He seemed to pop up everywhere she went. "Hello, Mr. Shreck corrupting more people I see." She said with a smirk. "You here for business or just to see legs?" She asked the odd man as she tilted her head to the dancers who were coming onto the stage to start the opening of the nights revelries.

Shayla Fagan Shayla thought about it for a moment, she did have more protection now thanks to Mr. O'connor and Brian. It was dark now and it had looked like rain. With some hesitation in her voice she said "Yes, that would be nice. But, please straight to my shop I want no misadventures."

Esperanza Rivera She had been in hiding for over four months now and her husband had not found her, not only that she had not heard a whisper of the Spanish mafia lately. Dreaming that he may be finally gone forever and she would no longer have to live in fear. Esperanza decided it was time to raise a little Cain. She was going to sing, dance drink and perhaps more.... The first thing she needed though would be a partner for a dance. Spying a man sitting alone she told herself. Go for it girl, you haven't got a thing to loose. Whats the worst that could happen you have taken your licks from a man before he can't do worse than your Arty used to. Esperanza took a breath then walked up to the man. "So stranger, care to dance?" She asked him with her best attempt at a seductive smile. Arty had been in her life since she was a girl she had never had areal chance to learn how to talk to men, now she was going to see what she could do.

Shayla Fagan "I dropped off the girls new duds and got paid, and now I go home. It was profitable enough but just another day like any other. What about you? Have you been a good boy lately? Or have you been naughty?" She asked playfully as she followed him from the speak easy.
