Ember had always been raised with a higher state of mind. Raised to be the newest priestess of the greater cities. Taught to always be the best and never falter from the role life had put before her. Well, her peers anyway. Blessed with an unimaginable power of Fire, the woman sheilded the greater cities. A Protector of innocents. Sure, she can be a bit stubborn, what can you expect from the woman? She had been sheilded from the world ever since she was a child. Knowing nothing more. The Spit-Fire Priestess can often be seen as 'Cold' or 'Distant', and yes, granted, she is all those things, but oh so much more.
If she seems to shy away from you in the most Hostile of ways, it is only to protect herself, and those she cares for. On the inside, Ember only wants the best for her loved onces, those closest to her, and the one she was charged to. A Priestess to the flame, the woman is one of few protectors, she will do her best to protect the elemental ways and keep the Earth safe from teh darkness that tries to unleash itself once more.

Being born as an Elemental isn't something all wish for. But, that is what had happened to Ember. The only daughter to; well; someone. The girl hadn't really known her parents, or anything. She was raised in the temple and taught their ways since childhood. Learning the pure ways of the old ones. Then, one day, she was awarded 'Head Priestess'. She had been the youngest one in centuries. The best Fire Elemental in her class, it was quite a feat. Although she was charged with the rules of never knowing or getting the chance to love anyone, the woman didn't let it bother her. It seemed to never phase her that a man could never enter her life and be a figure in it, he who wasn't a gods.
It didn't matter. She was devoted to her People and that would have never changed.
So it became, the world was once again racked with havoc. The old Darkness, the Lord of the olden days, had returned and had become a forboding figure in the woman's kingdom. They had decided, although she wasn't rather completly sure what their intentions were, Ember had decided to grab her fellow Priestess Edith, and combine their powers together, enough to send them away. Sure, they had, at some point, 'Faked their Deaths', How believeable it was, she hadn't known, wasn't sure, and did not plan to find out. The woman had dragged one of her only friends and companion alongside her to bring them to safety. But it wasn't as great as the woman thought it would be.
The Modern age was, in all rights, odd to the woman. It was hard to fit in, but, when they had figured out a way to make a living through it, the women did. Even though it was all strange to them, they had each other and that was all that had mattered. Soon, as it was, the women had become rather well known throughout the modern times. A Singer, a Dancer. Sticking out like sore thumbs, it hadn't mattered. They were happy, they were still the women they were in the past. Sticking to the old ways and ideals of living, making sure to never reveal their powers and old world ways.
They were far away from the men who were seeking them....
Or so they thought.

Ember is Fluent is many Languages. Spending most of her time studying the woman took to many cultures. She is fluent in Russian, Mandarin and Gaelic. And, of course, English. The Red-Head also sports a Birth Mark, one most elementals get when born.

Edi has always been a serious young woman. She's very dedicated to her studies, whatever they may be- elemental magic, table setting, or dancing. She may seem a bit cold at first, as Edi isn't one to wear her heart on her sleeve, unless you get to be close with her. She will only burden those she it close to with whatever thought or feeling is on her mind or heart. But to become close to her, it is a long road. Edi is very guarded. Polite and civil, yes, but she is reluctant to share personal details, stories, anything of that sort with one who is not close to her heart.
Once passed her chilly exterior, though, one will find a kind, loyal, logical friend. Edi is always one to offer tea to visitors, offer advice when needed, and though she may not always say the things you'd want to hear, as she's always very honest, she will always have your back and support any friend she manages to make. Her maternal instinct is very strong, despite her young age, and she is fiercely protective of her loved ones.

Growing up the youngest of three is always interesting. Being the youngest princess is even more so, especially when one is an Elemental, as well. She was taken at a young age to be trained as a priestess, where she met Ember. The two meshed well, the old saying 'opposites attract' working well in their situations. Edi was an Earth Elemental, which was usually used to keep Ember's fires under control.
With her friend as 'Head Priestess' in a matter of years, Edith, too, was renowed for her skills. She was happy, even though she missed her family often. Her older sisters would sometimes come to see her, but most of the time they were far too busy with their royal duties. Things soon picked up in activity, though. Evil rose once again. Demons sought to destroy her world. But, thankfully, together with Ember she was able to send the demons packing. However, it required her to fake her death, and thus transport to a new time.
The Morden age was odd, to say the least, and it took Edith a long time to grow accustomed to it. But she did, becoming a famous dancer, even! She would like to think her family would be proud to see how well she was doing in such a strange time. For a while, Edith thought things were going smoothly... Now, she blames herself for mot being more cautious, and for getting their friend involved.

Edith's Element is Earth- she can control plants by making the grow and move to her will. She can also move earth itself, creating pits, walls, shields. However, everything takes energy. Plants come easiest to her, while moving sold rock is very difficult. However, Edith is a pacifist, and doesn't use her powers in combat. She is also has a rose tattoo on her lower back. In this modern age, she has taken to a lovely little tabby cat that Edi has named Chester. He follows her everywhere he can.
