"How does one settle in to a mellow existence, when the past five years have been nothing but conflict and suffering?"

It has been three years since Warden Commander Robert Cousland and his men fought off the darkspawn threat in Amaranthine, and this have finally settled. Rebuilding of the city finished, the Commander does his best to guide the Arling of Amaranthine as it seems he was born to do. Only trouble is, how does one go from living under the constant threat of darkspawn to the comparatively simpler life of governing a nation and leading the Ferelden Wardens, all while trying to find peace of one's own?

Obviously set three years after Dragon Age Awakening, this will be 1x1, male/female only.

Personality: Born a noble, it shows, as he is caring, protective, and big on respect. However, he is witty, sarcastic, and a charmer unlike his brother, the new Teyrn of Highever, Fergus Cousland.
Background: When Robert's family was murdered, he hunted down Renden Howe mercilessly, his thirst for vengeance quenched. After having slain Howe and the Archdemon, Robert was made Commander of the Grey by Alistair and Anora. After another year, the Commander and his comrades ended the threat of the Awakened Darkspawn. Having little time to focus on his grief of the death of his entire family save his brother, Robert had become hardened, his sarcastic self nearly lost in the sea of conflict he'd endured.
Likes: Romance novels, expensive liquors, Orlesian pastries.
Dislikes: Betrayal, pirates, brothels on the dock (pirates tend to 'dock' in unsavory places.)
Love Interest: Currently none. Rob may be a silver tongued charmer, but accepting someone into his heart? That's difficult after the loss of his family.
Appearance: Robert has short brown hair and vibrant blue-green eyes, as well as a tattoo of the Cousland Family heraldry on the left side of his neck.
