Monthly Guild Phtography Challenges...?

We could have a guild wide photography challenge maybe once a month or something to get us all out there shooting new things.
each month would have a different theme/subject to shoot, then we could all share our photos, comment, and critique and help each others work improve.

We could use some of the ideas in this subforum for the themes/subjects...

I don't think it should be a "Contest" because I think that would cheapen our art. taking pictures to win something rather then to learn and grow just isn't the way to create good art in my opinion.

I would gladly help out with this if need be, I really think it would benefit us all.

The path of being a photographer opens new worlds to an already enlightened imagination. The only thing that can keep you from achieving what you have imagined, is yourself.

This is an incredible idea and could really benefit the Guild and get people active as well. And you're right, it should definitely not be a contest. And I could definitely use help in creating the template. I am getting busy on creating a beta template right now. 3nodding
