Noone probably remembers, but a little while ago I posted up a first attempt of a pastel peice I've been working on for a few months. Well I just finally finished the final version a few days ago, so, tell me what you guys think. The Artist Critique is my life blood.

nice colors! i like the smoothness of the cloth covered table and the scrolls of art. x] um, what happened to her nose though? like i see the top of it but where does it end? or is it just a stylistic preference that you draw it this way? mmm for some reason, i feel the head is a bit big for the body. just a little bit. shrug. anyways, good job. time well worth spent. pastels are awesome. i'm just too lazy to use them. x]

Very nice, you captured the lighting extremely well, I almost feel like I'm standing in the room!
I like how fuzzy it is, it adds to the effect. I like it a lot, well done!

@miharu_hime
I actually used every single color I have in that cloth. The nose is currently a stylistic preference; sorta. I need work on drawing noses. Yes, the head is a bit big, and it did annoy me, but I don't think it impacts the work too badly.
@Lucine-Light
Thanks! Lighting was all-important in this. It's fuzzy because I never sharpened my pastels, and blended with my fingers alot. I'm glad you like how it turned out.

..... eek that is awesome....I have pastels too, and I have to say that you did a much better job than I usually do. I need practice too. xp You did very well in blending the colors together and the shading is wonderful. You did a really good job.
