The noises from just a couple feet away drew Inigo back to the present, and he roused himself with a small shake of his head before he watched the jester slowly wake and sit back up. "You fell asleep for a while," he supplied readily as he leaned forward to poke at the fire with a sturdy stick he'd kept off to the side for just such a reason. "Have a nice nap?"

Rouge just groaned in answer. How was it possible to be even MORE sore after waking up? That wasn't even considering the continuing migraine. "I hate Tauros... Need a bar- bar- um... that grill thing..." The clown leaned forward and pressed the heels of both palms against either temple.

Inigo frowned softly at the jester's obvious discomfort, feeling rather bad for the poor thing. He didn't quite connect a slang term for a gang with any sort of grill, but maybe that was a headache talking. Migraine? ...Rouge didn't have a concussion, right? ...who was he kidding, he wouldn't be able to tell anything apart from the fact it was obviously head-related. And head injuries weren't so uncommon in fights.

"I have some pain killers if you want," Inigo offered as he pulled one of the bags over and dug through it briefly before pulling out a particular bottle. He paused to consider briefly before picking up the full water bottle Rouge had taken earlier and held it out meaningfully. "You should drink water too, I think it'll help you feel a little better." Or at the very least, dehydration would make everything hurt worse, so really, water wouldn't hurt.

Rouge grunted what may have been thanks at the medications. But then Rouge frowned at the bottle, then at Inigo. It wasn't an angry frown. More contemplative than anything. The clown was having some trouble focusing on what was being offered. Rouge weakly raised both hands. "Can't." It shook its head. "My, uh... my hands. Can't really grip it. The loud one stepped on- Uh. I mean... I can't twist my wrists," Rouge finished lamely. It was why the water bottle had stayed closed tight since being selected. With wrist injuries, the lid would need to at least be loosened first.

A sudden combination of surprise, sympathy, regret, concern and 'oh s**t' appeared on his face all at once, but he retracted both bottles and first loosened the water bottle first and offered it to Rouge, then the medicine bottle. He hesitated with that though, and instead of offering the full thing he tapped two out into his palm and offered those to the jester instead. "Here," he said gently. He wasn't sure how well the poor clown would be able to do that on its own - it was hard to think of opening such a small bottle as being difficult, but then it was easy to grow accustomed to and take such things for granted.

Rouge "eyed" the pills in the palm of one gloved hand, shoved away any doubts about the small things, and popped both in and chased them down with a long gulp of water. Then another gulp. And a third. Rouge knew better than to guzzle a lot of fluids all at once, but it was still difficult to quit and set the bottle aside. Small sips, it would need to be.

Which now left the clown unsure of what to say to fill the gap of silence. And for Rouge, that was a scary thought. "You... should stay away from Camphoreon for a couple'a weeks. Maybe more. 'Specially at night."

As Rouge drank and medicated, Inigo replaced the cap on the medicine bottle and put it back in the bag for the time being. The jester probably wouldn't need anymore tonight anyway. The words gave him pause though, and he leaned back and regarded his friend curiously. "Alright. I don't live there anyway." A short, thoughtful pause. "Is that what you're going to do too?" He asked, unable to keep himself from hoping the answer would be 'yes.' Idly he reached a hand out to pet Zero again and maybe scratch his ears - he seemed to respond well when he did it earlier, anyway, plus he was cute. And a nice distraction.

Zero eagerly leaned into the attention, tail flipping back and forth happily.

Rouge sat quiet for a moment. "Yeah," was the answer finally given. "Mini said I'll be a florist if she sees me before next month." More like Mini had said Rouge would be "pushing up daisies." Rouge didn't understand the reference, but the warning had still been clear.

Inigo smiled down at the little dark-type and started scratching both his ears with both hands. The jester's response confused him a bit though, and that confusion showed plainly on his face. "A.. florist?" What in the... He could see how being a florist would be a less-than-stellar career change for the clown, but... of all the things, a florist? That was really weird - but honestly, pretty much on par with everything Rouge-related, he supposed.

His gaze drifted downwards again to the food he never put away. "You should probably eat something," he suggested. "Crackers and chips really aren't that much for dinner." That and the clown didn't appear to have any food, just Zero. How did Rouge carry supplies and stuff, anyway?

Welp, that did. Inigo had himself a new fan in Zero.

Rouge was feeling a little bit better. Not a whole lot, but the nap had at least helped. That didn't mean the clown felt any more inclined than normal to explain the florist thing, though.

As for food... Rouge still wasn't so sure about that. The masked face stared in the direction of the sandwich bags. Behind it, the clown debated if it'd be safe to try stomaching such heavy foods yet. Probably was. It was just difficult to tell when everything was still so tired and achy.

The lack of a response didn't deter him from his suggestions of food, and he withdrew his hands from Zero in order to open the lunchbox from before. "Salad stuff in here," he offered absently, already digging into a backpack again for more food options, though he was pretty sure he'd taken everything out already. He hummed thoughtfully as he pulled a smaller bag over and dug through that briefly before he withdrew several granola bars and similar foods fit for hikes. "Anything look good?" He really kind of wished he knew what Rouge liked to eat. It would make this a whole lot easier.

Zero made a disappointed sound at the loss of attention, but otherwise stayed as he was. Rouge didn't answer right away. The nap had definitely caused one thing to happen that may or may not have been in anyone's favor: Rouge was back to calculating. What would be owed if the offer was accepted? Which way did the scale currently tip when it came to Spanish? What weight on that scale did the earlier crackers and chips add or deplete?

Then again, Rouge never had issues like this when it came to Mini. The two bartered and traded, but it was such a constant exchange between them that neither really bothered to keep strict tabs anymore. So maybe...

"Sandwich," was the mumbled answer at last. Zero growled and lightly bumped his forehead against Rouge's leg again. "...Please."

Inigo ruffled the fur atop Zero's head with a small grin before he picked up a sandwich, opened the bag it was in (he wasn't sure if opening plastic bags were within Rouge's abilities at the moment) and offered the whole thing to the jester.

"So," he began once the sandwich was taken and he turned to start scratching Zero behind the ears again, "since you won't be in Camphoreon for a while, where are you heading?"

"Hidey holes!" Rouge declared, looking much brighter despite itself while accepting the sandwich. "Very convenient things." Rouge sniffed at the sandwich. "Can never have enough." The clown punctuated this by taking a generous bite out of the foodstuff.

"Alright," Inigo said, casting his mind back to the one or two hidey holes he'd seen Rouge use, although they were indeed holes in which things could be stored - not exactly somewhere safe to stay and lay low for a while. "I'm going to assume most of your hidey holes aren't places you can hang out in," he ventured, still scratching behind both of Zero's ears, "and anyway, how close is your nearest one?" He was concerned about Rouge wandering around - stumbling around, actually - and so sore and obviously injured... Maybe if it wasn't too far, but if it was -- then what?
