The Knight

A rather apathetic and cold individual, Anya is often the quiet and introverted one. She seems to have a lack of emotion, and has little faith in her memory, so she maintains a log/blog which she frequently updates with pictures she takes with her camera-phone. Anya maintains a detached attitude in most situations, usually declaring most things to be boring or dull. In battle, her fighting style reflects her heavily-armored Knightmare; she annihilates her enemies with overwhelming force and doesn't hesitate to kill disabled foes. She thinks little of other people's embarrasment and often states blunt things that make others extremely uncomfortable. She is efficient in her work but often does so in a devastating way - if Anya does not receive the orders to be discreet and silent, an explosion will often occur. Despite all that, she seems quite close to Niccolo, though this may be attributed to the fact that they are partners for many of their assignments.

Little is known about Anya's past, except for the fact that she came from the empire (err, country?) of Britannia and had gained a spot as the Knight of Six in the prestigious Knights of the Round. She received early military training from a general, and was considered a prodigy. She does not remember how she contracted a Geass, and who she contracted with. She does know that one Geass user has been tampering with her memories, since her blog/photos don't match up to her memories. Anya keeps the blog to make sure that she records what is real. Before the age of eighteen, she was found by the Rebels, who gave her a place to belong and a way to find out who she truly was. She left the Britannian empire, shed her old identity, and now is the personal knight of Giotto. Anya often works with his secondary, Niccolo, and the two have developed a close relationship.
