BIOGRAPHY: Maddie was raised by her Grandmother. She had never known who her mother and father were and was never one to ask questions. She was raised with a book in her hand really, her grandmother not owning a television. Her Granny raised her to be a girl who was always down to earth with her feet firmly planted on the ground. Maddie turned out just the opposite. Her fairy tales and novels filled her head with dreams and ideas. When she was eight, she thought, wrote about and painted her dream man. A few of her friends said it was crazy to wish for someone who wasn't real. But Maddie didn't listen. She was always a bit stubborn when it came to her dreams.
When her Granny died, Maddie began living alone at their house. She worked most of the time at the Library and Cafe to earn more than enough to live on. But she was saving up for something important. Ever since her granny died Maddie felt the urge, the need, to escape this small town. It had grown boring to her over the years,. She wanted to live and see places like in her books. She wanted to meet people as colorful as on the pages she held so close. Of course, that wasn't all she wanted. Maddie, more than anything, wanted to find her dream boy. She wanted to know he existed and that he was alive. She also wanted to become a writer. And she was good enough too. She was known for being able to write a good story and was always getting rewards for them. But in this small town, she would never be what she wanted. She wouldn't be a writer who's books a young girl could turn to when she got lonely. And she wouldn't meet him.

BIOGRAPHY: Gabriella was born on a May 1, 1991. Her birth was met with smiles and laughter and as soon as she arrived home, she was raised and coddled with loving, gentle parents. Gabriella was a precious child growing up, she was a sweet as candy and as gentle as a cloud - naturally, her cute looks and perfect personality were met with great jealously from her female classmates and young Gabriella was often bullied and shunned by her fellow girls. She was also bullied by the boys who did not know how to show their love for her othering than pulling her hair and stealing her pencil case. These events cased Gabriella to grow up to be a shy, introverted child - someone who was seen but did not speak.
The resentment from her classmates continued until she moved to Rome in her teens. Once in the large city, she was able to met people who liked her and wanted to be her friend and for once, Gabriella was happy.
In high school, she met and fell in love with an older, college student from the states who was sutdying abroad in Rome. The two instantly hit it off and were soon dating. Being young, Gabriella would often imagine the life they would have together; a nice house with a white picket fence, a few children running about, and the two of them still deeply in love.
When she was sixteen, her love's school visa expired and he told her to come back with him to America so that they could be together. Against everyone's wishes she agreed and left school to be with him. The first year together was just like in Italy only she didn't leave his apartment as Gabriella did not speak English and only knew her lover.
When she turned seventeen, she became pregnant and that's when her life came crashing down. Her love did not want a child yet and told her to get an abortion - unfortunately, Gabriella did not want to get rid of the child and she was kicked out of the apartment.
Heartbroken, no money, pregnant and with her visa expiring soon Gabriella thought her life was over - until she got this strange urge to head west. Following her gut instinct, Gabriella sold what little things she had and headed West.
A few weeks later she arrived at Sunflower, California. She was taken in by the previous InnKeeperand made her life there. Nine months later, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl whom she named Maria and even got a job as a maid at the Inn. Now - at the age of 21 - she is the new InnKeeper and still raises her daughter.
Maria as it turns out, is Gabriella's true happiness.

BIOGRAPHY: Jo has lived in Japan all her life. She at one point worked in a group of mercenaries agents, who worked for an international group. She was essentially, the muscle of the group. She has a gun on each hip, which she is quite proficient in using. Despite that, she only uses them to protect herself and others. She has not used them since leaving Japan. Even so, she keeps them cleaned and ready to use. After an event, one she prefers to not speak about, she left Japan, finally giving in to the urge to leave, one she had been suppressing for quite some time.
When Jo left, she left all her friends, and a girl she had loved for quite some time. She left her jacket with her, so she would be remembered. PERSONALITY: Aikane is a complex girl. She has a complicated personality that has many twist and turns. A huge labryth. That how you can describe this young lady. With a lot of energy but also a huge amount of spunky-ness she's isn't the type of girl that you can just by-pass. Her hair is pink to match her personality most of the time. BIOGRAPHY: Ai grew up in Paris, France. Born in the utmost cleanest hospital she came into the world with huge green eyes, natural tan skin, and the hugest smile. She was the type of girl that you'd think get whatever she wanted in life, since her parents were verily wealthy. Though she was the type of that her mother wanted to be a sweet little "Princess". As Aikane grew older, around the age of 5, she was placed in Piano lesson along with singing. Her mother placed her in ballet and etiquite classes, she was your average french maiden.
That was until one afternoon, 3 years later, she followed her father to his 'man cave' and found tons and tons of guns. The only one that interested her the most was the giant one hanging on the top shelf. A sniper. Her father was a master assassin and not many people knew that (family members). As far as he knew, only his brother and now Aikane knew. He taught her the way of how to fight and how to use the sniper that her eyes stayed glued to. She was amazed at how much this facinated her.
As the years went on, Aikane went on missions with her father, just for practice. She ended up taking most of the kills. On the night of her big mission, someone found out who she was. With great fear, her father quickly sent Aikane to go live in her Uncles house at Sunflower, Cali. Her uncle was never home because he also went on missions. Finding a small cafe job and paper route in the small town she found out she was truly happy. With or without her sniper job.

BIOGRAPHY: Adopted by a kindly old man in Altötting, Elizabeta has no collection of her life before the age of four. The man, called Drosselmeyer, ran a little shop. He made the most wonderful things out of wood - exquisite clocks, wonderful music boxes, intricate toys, anything. He taught Elizabeta all about wood and carving, and the little girl took to the trade like a fish in water. It was during this time when she received a request to make wooden string instruments. She started with the violin, moved onto bigger instruments like cello, and finally arrived at guitar. Upon completion of her first guitar, Elizabeta fell in love with the intsrument. She actually kept her first attempt for herself, getting it tuned later by one of the music shops she frequented. As the years passed, Drosselmeyer grew old, and died. After his death, Elizabeta closed his shop and packed up her things and left.
She traveled all over Europe, trying to find a place that felt like home. Eventually, her travels led her to the city of Paris, France, where she worked in a bakery for a while. It was there that she met a classmate, an upperclassman. It started with a mild interest, developed into an unhealthy fascination, and from then on, everything spiraled downwards. They became friends after his violin broke and Elizabeta made a new one for him. They became very close friends, with him being three years older than her. His fond nickname for her was "Elyse" [[ pronounced like the German "Elise" not "Elyss" ]]. He was the one she often gave her lollipops to, while everyone else received peppermint and fruit candies. When she finally realized that she liked him, it was already too late and he was going out with one of her friends. Elizabeta stayed for another year, but it was clear that she was only a friend to him.
After that, she left Paris and hopped on a plane to the States. She lived in New York for the next few years, working between various odd jobs and being a street performer. Elyse changed her name legally, shortening Elizabeta to the nickname that the boy she had loved gave her. She joined a band there, becoming the lead vocals and solo guitarist. Unknown to her, one of the band members actually liked her. When she did find out, Elyse fled and left New York. She entered California, and after much wandering, ended up in Sunflower. The scars haven`t left her, but Elyse is determined to make this a new start. She still ends up running away when romance springs up.

Because of this, Damien's mother was forced to drop out of school to raise her only child and worked numerous jobs to pay the bills and to put food in Damien's mouth.
In school, Damien was often teased and picked on for two reasons - one, his lack of a father and two, his feminine appearance. The bullying continued well into middle school and it was then that he found out more about his mother's "job." One day, he decided to skip school as he did not want to face his tormenters and went home, upon his arrival, he discovered that his mother was involved in the yakuza by walking in on her and some yakuza members "making a deal."
Needless to say, Damien was shocked and was then brought into the gang as "payment" for his mother not telling them that she had a son. While in the gang, Damien did miscenllaneous jobs which included staking out, gathering information and trailing people - more than once he was attacked and beaten to an inch of his life - but he could not leave as they held his mother's life. So he endured the danger and continued working for them.
When Damien was seventeen he felt a strange desire to go somewhere but he brushed off the feeling. As time went by the feeling only grew in intensity but Damien was able to push it away with the knowlegde that if he left his mother would be killed. When he turned eighteen, Damien found out that his mother died from a car crash and after her funeral he was able to run away and follow the urge.
The urge made he arrive at Sunflower, CA where he has lived for the past year. Life here is good for Damien and he is glad for the peaceful life.

BIOGRAPHY: Born and raised in New York, Micheal's father was a lawyer, and his mother stayed at home with him. Ever since he was little, he excelled in school, to his parents' delight. Pleased with his academic aptitude, Micheal's parents were then pushing him constantly to his best, and as a result he only started to come out of his social shell during high school, to no great success.
Micheal graduated at the top of his class, naturally. Though unfortunately, he was never really popular, making a few, close friends and having absolutely no luck with girls. Then graduated, his father began pushing him towards a career in law, but he wasn't sure he wanted to do that and upon admitting this to his father, was immediately told to find his own place to live and his own way to pay for college. After moving out so suddenly, he began to question what he wanted out of his life, his father had always made his decisions for him, and now his life was up to him. Searching for himself and what he wanted out of life, Micheal boarded a bus one day and ended up in Sunflower.
