xx46, a healthy baby boy by the name of [[y]] was born; the new hope of a family of lawyers and businessmen.
xx53, [[x]] was born; a clumsy, bubbly, laughing little boy who was the bright ray of sunshine for a family of teachers and doctors.
xx59, [[y]]'s father met [[x]]'s mother and immediately romance blossomed.

[[y]] and [[x]] weren't very close the first time they met. [[y]], at the time seventeen years old and already graduated, working at his father's business, wasn't quite sure what he thought about his new, shy little brother, and [[x]], ten years old and not quite good with strangers, spent most of the time clinging to his mother, avoiding eye contact.
Seven years later, [[x]] is in his last year of high school; still the bright, bubbly ray of sunshine he had been when he was younger; if not brighter. He and [[y]] have grown considerably close...So much so that they are rarely seen without the other. [[y]] has strayed from the path his father's family had thought of for him and has become a teacher...

Apparently, his concern and care for his younger brother is stronger than either of them thought.
[[y]] has been certain for a long time that his feelings for [[x]] are extremely inappropriate. You just weren't supposed to fall in love with your brother, step-siblings or not.
Meanwhile, [[x]] is only starting to recognize his signs of attachment to oniichan as affection of another kind...and not what families are supposed to feel for each other...
