+ Follow Gaia TOS and Guild Rules.
+ You’re roleplay should include a plot, rules, and character skeletons.
- You should have a plot that’s more than a one-liner, but not long enough to be a chapter. You’re RP must include rules. Please include in your rules that the rating is PG-13 and that there is to be no cybering. Please provide character skeletons for players and a specific post for the profiles. Few people want to browse through pages to view someone’s self-posted profile.
+ No plagiarism.
- You may ask to use someone’s plot, coding, or images, but please credit them once they give you permission. Otherwise, don’t take anything and call it your own. You’re likely to get caught with the number of people who frequent the guild.
+ No Harassment
- This means any deragatory remarks, racism, sexual harassment, etc. Respect one another and if an issue arises please get a hold of the moderator in charge!
+ Contact Moderators
- If you have any questions, you may post them in here. If you have any problems, please contact a moderator. The captain, kaykeyser, is not to be contacted at any time. Please contact the mod in charge of the subforum that this problem or question pertains to. If posting, quoting will get you a reply much more quickly, as everyone is notified when they are quoted.
+ A Suggestion - Creativity
- If you want to do something that's really common or done a lot (i.e. vampires, zombies, school RPs, vampires vs lycans), please make sure that there is not already one with available that is similar in plot that has openings for a character. If you don't want to join that one in particular, then change the plot around a little. Make it unique.
Also, be creative with your RPs. Spice them up. Cliches can become tiring so think of something new and interesting. Same goes for your characters. While it's easy to use the same/similar character all the time, it's good writing practice and a lot of fun to try different characters and character types. We've all seen the dark and "mysterious" tsundere and the typical good-intentioned hero. Try to branch out, even try something new that you aren't completely sure of. If you never leave your comfort zone, you never experience anything new and unexpected.
+ If your thread does not follow the given rules, your thread will be locked. It is your responsibility to contact a mod after you've changed the thread according to the rules. You will not be required to post and say that you have read the rules or to have something in your thread to show you have read them, but you will be held accountable whether you have read them or not. It’s your responsibility to take care of.
