	It depends on wether it was behind a closed or open door. If it was a closed door then you should respect thier space. If its in a common area or behind a open door, then I would ask something like "Hey, you okay, need someone to talk to, or just be with you so your not alone, or would you like space" Depending on thier awnser I would react as such.
