Vaguely familiar, yes, but not nearly enough to place a name or even a general location. The party with the Little Red Riding Hood costume came to mind, but he didn't quite look like someone who would go to a party like that - but who was she to judge; she'd gone to medical school and it was just astounding the things nurses did in their time off. Well, but that wasn't important.

"No harm done, Monsieur Danseur!" she responded, taking a place beside Abigail with a bright grin and her arms folded neatly behind her back. Abigail's inquiry inspired some curiosity; was he a dancer, or just dressed the part? If the latter held true, could she forcibly coerce him into dancing anyway? Hmmmm.

Alba's face reddened slightly behind his half mask. He covered an embarrassed cough with one hand and tried to tug at the hem of his shirt again with the other. How did he always get himself cornered into situations like this?! "Um... No...? Not really, no. I haven't danced in years. It'd..." Oh, Arceus, why did he get the feeling he knew where this conversation with the two ladies was going? "I'm sure I'd be pretty bad. Best to spare people the horror of it." He gave a nervous laugh.

Reggie still looked visibly upset, but she nodded meekly and relaxed the slightest bit. It seemed her cup would be spared after all. "Thank you." She sniffled. Okay, so the big scary man wasn't as big and scary as she'd originally assumed. Now what did normal people do in these situations... She never was any good in social settings. "Sorry again. Thank you. Sorry. Uh... Oh!" She looked around at the surrounding crowds. "Did I make you lose your friend?" The girl bounced slightly on her toes, trying to the locate the pumpkin lady for the not really mean but still slightly scary man. Unfortunately, Reggie was shorter than most everyone there and couldn't see much. She pouted and turned back to him. "Sorry."

"Ah, well. It was a Pichu. I believe they're popular with youth." Jeremy mused as if that might explain everything they needed to know about the cup-throwing electric mouse.
Oh well, at least he could offer a smirk up for the compliment to the (still, in his mind) ridiculous tights.
"Thanks. A tailor?" Jeremy's eyebrows rose appreciatively. "Now that is very interesting. Where did you move from if I might ask? I trust your clients there were rather sorry to lose you?"
So, he was being a little probing, perhaps, but this Kirk was interesting and a tailor to boot; it was hard to be subtle with his curiosity and he couldn't exactly ask 'so are you a very good tailor?'. That would be rude and, ultimately, unhelpful anyway.

[Arcadie, Alba]

It was difficult not to notice him pulling on his shirt uncomfortably, and Abigail briefly felt bad for him. She hadn't picked her costume either, but a detective had a lot more room for interpretation and good costume piece choices than a ballet dancer did. But on the other hand, she didn't feel too bad - he was dressed as a ballet dancer and he'd crossed the threshold into dance territory. There was no way he could realistically expect to get through without dancing! "Come, come! I'm sure you'll dance just fine," she said encouragingly, offering him a warm smile as she reached a gloved hand towards his arm. "You're on the dance floor, after all! Isn't that right, ma chèrie?" She looked towards Arcadie for back-up.

[Aulus, Sasha, Distance]

Inigo knelt down to pet the two pokemon again, this time not covering them with his giant sheet of a costume as Aulus spoke to the girl he didn't know. He did offer her a casual wave though.

Rosie watched as the Vaporeon gathered himself and continued on his way.
He was a beautiful specimen, it made her think of her own beautiful Vaporeon, vahy'n.

For a moment Rosie's eyes went a little distant, starring off at the guests in costume, but not really seeing them.
She knew what her friend was feeling, what it was like to loose something so precious.
Rosie also knew how unbearably lucky she was that she had gotten Vahy'n back. and now, her friend is going through it.

There wouldn't be anything Rosie could say to make it better, it could never be better.

The music changed, Rosie lifted the pumpkin head back up over her head and slipped it on till it bumped her shoulders.
Reaching a hand out the young girl took a hold of her friend's and stood.

Seraphine was oblivious to Rosie's internal pity and sympathy for her, but had she been aware of it she would be even more upset. As it was, though, the only thing she was aware of was Rosie putting her weird pumpkin head back on before standing up. And grabbing her hand. Sera gave her friend a weird look and asked simply, "What?" After a few moments, she finally condescended to stand up next to her, but didn't take her hand away. "What is it?" She was still pouting, still frowning, still in a sour mood from that stupid so-called cop. All she wanted to do was mope somewhere.

[Inigo, Aulus, Distance]

"That's right!" Sasha said to Aulus. "Yes, our Charizards got along well, didn't they? It was nice to see."

Meanwhile, Florie was still bouncing over by Distance. the Igglybuff responded, bouncing from side to side. "Iggibuff!" After happily accepting more pets from Inigo, Florie went to bounce off... only to bounce right back.
