The Backstory These three are the result of one very well-traveled Buck who had a fascination with exotic does. He had first gone to the mountains, and found a young totoma doe, wooed her, and then traveled on, leaving her unknowingly with Lamb. Then he had gone down the mountain, to where its roots turned to sand. He had found an even stranger doe there, one like the first in that she had thick armor on her back and face, unlikeness her in that her horns were slender and straight. Her dainty but elegant form had charmed him, and so he persued her as well, and, for a time, they traveled together. He slipped away in the night when he felt it was time. He traveled further into the desert, eventually finding a small herd of acha, and they thought him exotic, and so he was persued for once. Eventually craving the cool of the swamp, the Walkabout Buck turned back towards home... he was lost to the sands and thirst within plain view of his homeland. Some would say it was a punishment for the journey, that the great Crane had forsaken him as he had forsaken it...
