Yay guns and food. A man I work with is doing a legit traditional Thanksgiving. Like eating only the food that the pilgrims ate, and using old fashioned methods of cooking/utensils made by hand. Hardcore dude.

Yeah, no turkey or most of the vegs we eat either.

yep, mainly the stuff which was around then, which makes sense. Turkey was around at the time, and sources I read said it was plentiful enough but it just wasnt significant at the time.

When I was in college they usually had one open for the people who couldn't make it back home for Turkey Day. Is your college far from your home?

Yes. All of the school buildings are closed except for the dorm.
