Anyone heard of Existor and Evie?

I found this great thing by watching I think it was PewdiePie, and I decided to ask here, the guild I have just joined, if anyone here had gone on Existor.com?

It has this AI named Evie, who constantly thinks she's cleverbot. She talks with a microsoft sam type voice... oh yes, and she's somewhat scary. If anyone's been on there, tell me your story? smile

This is one of the reasons I say it's scary...

Evie: Hello. Actually, you don't need to imagine that world. Let's start talking!
Me: What is a world?
Evie: You are telling me that you are subject to the same technological torture with out effect? I don't believe you.

But indeed "smart bots" are slowly getting better but I still dont see any remotly close to passing the turing test.

On futher analasis...she has a lot of misses. Her learning from others seems to hinder her quite a bit

Yes, that's what I've noticed. Sometimes it can be funny to 'talk' to her, other times it can just be plain sad or scary. Thanks for responding.

Do you talk to her talk to her? Do you type and she just says things back in return?

You can use voice chat, which doesn't work on most browsers (The only one I've found is google chrome, and even then, the voice to text is not accurate at all half the time) or you can type in things. It isn't very good, mainly since it learns from other people. Tis fun though.

Yeah, I tried out a few of the online bots back in uni when we were studying alan turing (philosophy of AI)
