TEACHER INFO

Clyde Anderson is a thirty-nine year old rider who works with his Bone-Eater Dragon Partner Dessi, and human possessed Snatcher dragon Roc van DerVeen. Clyde and Dessi focus on training the humans the basic of riding and caring for the gear used to ride, while Roc teaches hatchlings the basic of flight.

Father Liam Pealdron is a monk from a far away land who only came to work at Draconia during his prime. Now in his late fifties, Liam is not quite as quick as he used to be. But his knowledge is great and the students like his company. He often acts as a counselor for those who need a sympathetic ear.

Sir Archeus Rodeiro is one of Draconia's 'Golden Boys' and his Snatcher, Daemon was his exact opposite. Archeus was the star of his class and could do no wrong, which was perfect cause Daemon did a lot of wrong. After graduating the pair left to see the world, and Archeus was eventually knighted in one of the Kingdoms that have been part of Asgoran for as long as anyone knows, and returned a few years later to teach. He's currently thirty-one and happily married to the main cook, Matilda Rodeiro.

Professor Elena Reed was another Draconian graduate... Only, instead of getting out to see the world, she and her Tundra Dragon Wiltson, took over the vacant position in Archery training. The old teacher had retired, and his replacement never showed up so it sort of fell on Elena. Not that she minded; she's always loved the school and couldn't imagine leaving. She's 28 years old, unmarried and not likely to ever do so.

Lady Rae Wolfe and her Rock-Ridge Dragon, Shale, were the uppity noble sort all through their education and graduated years. Lady Wolfe spent most of the time between graduation and returning to teach Polearms playing politics and knocking around the heads of monarchs who thought only of themselves. Though generally seen as a stern woman, she has a surprisingly soft heart for those who deserve her affections.

Alora Payn is quite a different character when compared with the other teachers; three years ago, her Butterfly Dragon Esmeralda was killed in a freak accident in the caves beneath the academy. The grief drove her from Draconia where she left her job as the Magic teacher empty for anyone to take and disappeared until the beginning of this year. Only she didn't return alone. She brought a would-be student with her, resumed her position after scaring off the current teacher, and has kept mostly to herself.

Headmaster Rodrick Royce is the son of the former Headmaster, and can trace his lineage all the way back to when the Academy was started. He always sort of knew that this would be his lot in life, but as a student and young adult, he wasn't ready to settle down. He spent many years being a rebellious prat before returning while his father lay on his death bed. Rodrick and his Rock-Ridge took over his father's place when the old man died and eventually matured and turned into a fine man. He married a younger woman named Freya, and eventually had a daughter whom he expected to take after him just as things had always been... Only, when his daughter reached the age to be bonded, it became apparent that it would never happen. The magic wouldn't stick to her, and each dragon that the priest tried bonding with her fell ill and died soon after....

DIVINITY ADAMS
The Bone-Eater Dragon
Fifteen / Female / Magic / 5'3 / 118lbs

Divinity the potential to be a skilled spellcaster both when it comes to written and verbal spells, and perhaps even runic spells in time. She has had some training in magic prior to arriving at Draconia, but even then the training was limited as the best spellcasting teachers do not come at an easy price nor do they often feel the need to travel to teach students when there are perfectly capable young-ones a minute walk from their homes.

Aside from that, Divinity was always excellent at horsemanship and riding. She was practically raised on the back of a horse as her father was a well known breeder of some of the finest horses in Divinity's homeland of Perth. Perhaps not so surprisingly, a lot of the skills needed to take care and ride a horse aren't to dissimilar from the ones needed to ride and care for dragons.

On the flip side, there are quite a few things Divinity is not good at; mainly things that require her to fight with a weapon. She's not strong and she has little interest in building up much muscle. She's worse with weapons like swords, axes, and war hammers. She's mediocre with the quarterstaff, and she's just barely passable with the bow.

Whimsical / Foolhardy / Intuitive

Divinity was born into nobility; her mother was a young noblewoman from a prominent house in Perth and when her parents died rather unexpectedly in bandit attack, she became the Lady of a lot of land and one of the most sought after bachelorettes in the Kingdom. She denied all her suitors, however, and married a stablehand whom had been her friend for years and knew just as much about the land she owned as she did.

Their marriage was a rare one, but what was supposed to be a happy and fruitful union soon turned sour when Lady Eleyne Adams was unable to conceive a child. It put a strain on the young couple's relationship and that affected their income, which in-turn lowered the Adam's family ranking on the Perth social scale. Demoted to a lower house, it was years before a wandering Dragon Rider happened at the run-down mansion. Simply looking for a place to rest, the dragon rider was sucked into Eleyne's and Ronald's life when she began to question the unhappy couple about the state of the house. It was clear that Valleyview had once been a splendid manor, and the Rider wanted to find out what had changed.

Soon enough she got all the pieces together and decided to help the couple out for their generosity... In the ancient language of the Dragons, the Rider wrote an incantation from her blood and the blood of her dragon onto the belly of Eleyne, and nine months later, Divinity was brought into the world.

Divinity, or Devin as she started calling herself, had a normal life for a low-ranking noble family. Her presence had uplifted her parents once more and they were starting to put Valleyview back on track as a prominent farming community. But what they didn't know was the magic the rider had used to help bring Divinity into the world would always tie the two together. Years later, when Devin was thirteen, she fell ill rather suddenly and almost didn't survive. There was no explanation for the illness, but as quickly as it had come it vanished. Two years later, the Rider returned.

There was a notable change in Alora, and the lack of her dragon was shocking. She was no longer amiable and polite... It took three days for Alora to finally get what she was looking for, and on the dawn of the fourth day, Devin was off to become part of Draconia Academy.

Divinity was bonded with a Bone-Eater hatchling she named 'Flirt.' The Dragon is pretty standard of it's species, the only major difference being that it's four eyes are purple instead of blue.

INNELL KASRA
Rock-Ridged Dragon named Krag
18 / Male / Mid-range Fighting Style / 5'11" / 167 lbs.

Innell has excelled in the polearms and survival training classes since he arrived at the academy. On the other hand, his skill with the sword has been more than lackluster.

Upbeat about almost everything / Can be rather nosy / Extremely accepting of all kinds of people

Innell came from a small town out in the waste-backs of society. He lead a relatively sheltered life under his parents. Though all the same, he was given a very loose leash in terms of what he was allowed to do and where he was allowed to go. He applied to the academy when he was 14 and was bonded to Mor'kol 3 months later.

Mor'kol is quite a bit smaller than the average rock-ridge, standing at only 20 feet tall. This, however, gives him a slight speed advantage over most others of his kind.

DOMINE FIGGINS
Alikor the Horn-Snout Dragon

Domine is good at fighting close up. He enjoys any type of weapon except for ranged. He detests ranged weapons, but occasionally will throw a spear around. He cannot for the life of him do well in spell casting. They say that all humans can do magic but Domine believes he was born with a defect that he can't really do magic. Anyway he will always prefer a good hand to hand combat over any magic or ranged fight.

Persistant / Temperamental / Good Listener

Domine was born in a small town called Edgemore. His mother and father were both good at wielding a sword. Why, it was how they met. But at the time that Domine was born, his mother was a butcher and his father a blacksmith. Because of that, he was never queasy around blood or any of the sorts. He didn't really like going ot school as a kid, he much preferred fighting or riding horses of some sort. He dreamed of attending Draconia Academy. It would be the ultimate accomplishment he could ever do. And when the egg hatched and the dragon he bonded with was a Horn-Snout, well it was like the gravy on mashed potatoes. He became well known because of the rarity of his dragon and he quite enjoyed the attention. In the future, when he graduates, Domine wishes to travel the world with his dragon and promote justice.

LILITH NETHERWEAVE
Tundra Dragon
18 / Female / She fights both close range to mid range / 5'5 / 115lbs

Lilith has mastered the art of mixing both swordsmanship and magic together. She calls her particular style a Battle Mage. But where she excels in both swordsmanship and magic, she practices in archery. She has never grasped the concept of knocking the arrow to the string.

Fierce / Blunt / Loyal

Lilith grew up as the daughter of a bandit leader. Her father raped her mother and together he took her mother away and raised Lilith as his own child prodigy. Her mother died during the birth because it was to much for her. As she grew up, she learned to pillage and murder alongside her father. She enjoyed it for the most part. But she despised her father and the company he kept. She was beat constantly and runes were etched into her skin once her father figured out she could cast magic. At the age of 15 though, everything turned around for her. During a normal raid, the town was housing a dragon rider. The dragon rider destroyed the bandits with ease, but sadly her father escaped. She was knocked unconscious during the fight giving the rider a grievous wound of his own. The dragon saw the potential in her and he took them both. She was immediately accepted into training upon her skill with a blade. But she was a magical disaster that blew up whenever her emotions got out of control. After a year of training she was paired with her dragon, 2 days before her sixteenth birthday. He was a Tundra Dragon. His name, Nico. Together they trained hard, growing closer together as partners and eventually they knew everything about one another. Now she is a tutor where she was once being mentored and ready for the opportunity.
