I know it's a bit old and cliched, but I still love this one that came out more true than they meant it:

"Don't let worry kill you; let the church help."

Kinda reminds me of a sign outside an insurance company:

McName
TRAUMA * INJURY * DEATH
By Appointment

So I was riding home from class today, and lo' and behold, the old church in Alberta decided to change their sign. One side, I must say, had me in high hopes for a second.

"Acceptance is bred in the womb of diversity."
"If God doesen't bless it, don't do it!"

And, wouldn't ya know it, neither of those plays true around here. Yech.
That Second one is crazy, because how can something who, even if he does exist has never made proven contact with a human, bless something.

There's a church near my home that has some clever ones; the most recent one can remember was "SPRING: GOD'S GREETING CARD." There was also "FREE TRIP TO HEAVEN: DETAILS INSIDE," or something to that effect, last year.

I can measure how fast a car is going in churches per hour in my state, but my two favorite church sayings are:

The ever famous, "The greatest position is on your knees."
And the more local, "Christ, God's unspeakable gift."

Like Christ is a fancy-wrapped box of horse s**t dropped on your doorstep. Someone needed a dictionary.

I've seen a church sign that once said "We might not be Dairy Queen, but we have the best Sundays!"

It's kind of Cliche I think. The funny part is that one day someone, somehow attached a big poster board below the sign, and it read "Right, and we milk your pockets dry!"

I think that might have something to do with the passing of the money bowl or something. I don't know...I thought it pretty amusing at the time.

Cliche or not, anything for a better turnout.
