[FIN] Hair is Serious Business

She watched his gaze move away, then looked away herself. Obviously, Asch wasn't feeling up to talking about his brother.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry," she apologized, moving across the small salon to look at the arrangement of products displayed.

More like he didn't want to talk about anything involving his mother's death. That experience had been painful enough. It seemed cruel that after so many years, when he finally got to see her again, that she was snatched away from him just like that.

Asch said nothing and merely closed his eyes, trying to push the thoughts to the back of his mind. The roaring sound of a hair drying being a blessed distraction as the stylist finished trimming his red locks and began drying them.

Dove stayed quiet as the stylist dried his hair, still looking through the products at the counters. Selecting a few after careful decision, she made her purchase and waited for the young man's hair to be done.

The young man's hair was rather thick, so it took a few minutes after that hot oil treatment, to dry his hair. However, once he was done, Asch quietly thanked the lady and then paid for and tipped the stylist.

His green eyes glancing over at Dove as he noticed that she was still there for whatever reason.

She waited patiently as the woman finished his hair, standing at the counter and chatting casually with another of the women standing around. When Asch came to the counter to pay, she stepped to the side, then offered a slight smile when he glanced over at her, cautiously taking another step back when he moved to leave.

After a beat, she extended the bag towards him, cheeks a bit pink. "Here. It'll make your hair grow faster and stronger. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. Next time, you probably wont even need the oil treatment!"

Asch blinked as the bag was pushed at him. Green eyes looking down at it and then back up to her with a small frown. Not moving to take it yet.

"You didn't have to do that," he told her.

And really, he wasn't sure why she was either. They had only just met and she just happened to know his brother.

"I bothered you, and I know these products work. From experience," she told him. She continued to hold the bag out to him, as an offer. His life couldn't be easy, as a rocket, and a twin with no close connection to his brother, and as a man who had just lost his mother.

Asch hesitated in silence for a moment. Had he known what she was thinking, he would have likely refused and walked out. But he didn't, and well... it was a nice gesture. Resigning to it, he reluctantly took the bag and muttered his thanks.

She offered a small smile in return, then turned to the woman as she called for her to go over the small contract to be signed. Picking up her shoulder bag, she stepped past the young man, and made her way back into the office.

"I'll see you around, Asch! Have a good day!"

Asch said nothing, merely watched her go. He then sighed and left in silence. Strange girl, that one, but well... she seemed nice enough. And hey, if these things really worked, all the better.
