Here she was again attempting a class she had failed miserably in her second year. With any luck she could at least make it a little bit further this time. She was ready! She was able, willing, all those other words with similar meanings...she was good! She could do this. Junko stepped into the portal with no hesitation, closing her eyes and somehow nailing the landing without falling over or stumbling too much. She could feel it, her clothes felt heavy and stuffy and...everywhere. This could either be very good or very bad. Should Junko be worried? She wasn't sure. Last time she had liked her outfit, but she knew that wasn't necessarily going to happen every time. Though what if this time she got the same outfit as last time? What if it was just a thing that happened?
Opening one eye and then the other, Junko was...unsure of how to feel. It could have been worse. Whatever, she'd take it this time.
Junko stepped further into the area, intrigued more by this place than last time when she had been nervous and worried. It was...interesting. She picked up one of the little creatures running past her only for it to bite her hand and run away. Well that wasn't nice! When was she going to reach the end of this path? Geeze! Had it taken this long before?
Her answer came in the shape of a butterfly chrysalis, the creature freeing itself with a...timid..
...It..
No way.
Junko took a step back away from a face she knew better than any other; her own face. The creature was her, her hair cut short to her shoulders, her expression sad and pitiful. The ghoul was dressed poorly, as if she didn't care how she looked or took any pride in herself.
It disappeared. It reappeared. It disappeared again and again and again..
"Wh-what.."
