тнєrє's oɴʟy oɴє oʄ ϻє ʄoʀ α ʀєαsoɴMary is a very realistic yet pacifist kind of individual. She understands any situation with any small amount of detail. No matter how antagonized any individual may seem, though, Mary is quick to forgive. She's a very kind and gentle young lady, often being seen as a graceful princepessa by her family. She is fair and kind in many ways, but like any person out there, she is still rather flawed. Mary tends to be very indecisive, sometimes unable to make rather simple decisions as she sees the good and bad in everything. Also, she naturally has an overly-naive mind, often not understanding some emotions that are foreign to her.
Marina is still also a very intelligent student. She takes a majority of honors' courses, and the rest are her extra curricular courses. She has amazing grades, She's on the swimming team in the summer, so she is partly athletic. Aside from academics, she is also quite capable of understanding the human mind. Before she had her powers, she had a strong sense of intuition that allowed her to be able to understand people at a deeper level. Also, because of this, she can't entirely stand people that have no moral code of any sort. She isn't cruel to them, however. She is just naturally quiet next to them.
When it comes to talking to others, Mary sometimes seems to have problems. In class and with her friends, she is extremely friendly and occasionally talkative. However, when she is meeting new people or she has to ask a favor from anyone (be it friend or stranger, she immediately tenses up and becomes shy. This is a rare occurrence, but people who know her do see it from time to time.
Alongside whatever friends she has, Mary is always the one to play the neutral party, sometimes breaking fights whenever needed. She gets easily intimidated and sometimes socially awkward, but when this happens, she simply smiles, but in a nervous fashion. She has a tendency to be accident prone, always hitting her hand on a table or wall. Even if it's often, she is not tolerant to pain. Also, she seems to constantly get teased, hating it when her friends call her "adorable" or "cute." She is a crybaby at times when her friends purposefully tease her, but she doesn't actually cry as much as she does just whines. She doesn't seem to cry.
There is a much darker side to the little Mary everyone knows. She has an alter ego she apparently has only shown once which has been nicknamed as "Bloody Mary." In this state, she literally shows no emotion on her face other than pure hatred. She also seems to be very hostile and even gains murderous intentions. When Mary feels that other side coming out, she tends to run off and try to stay secluded from others.ɪт's α ʟoɴɢ sтorʏThe Woodings family seemed to have a long-time goal to end up adding every kind of race out their to their family tree. Mario Woodings was already Italian, British, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Greek, Spanish, Mexican, and Irish. However, he decided to fall for a Native American and Brazilian woman name Ana Rosalez. They ended up having a young daughter who would go on to be named Marina Ehawee Woodings. The different cultures surrounded Marina as an infant, and, though it was short-lived, the small family was quite happy together.
Then, Ana died in a car accident. Mary's father was depressed, so he moved to Strawberry where his brother lived. Marina was only two at the time, and her father was in no real condition to raise her. Instead, her Uncle Simon and Aunt Rachel raised her. They were much stricter than the small girl was used to. She would be sent to her room for doing small things like forgetting their home number or finding the cookie jar. Soon enough, she grew up to realize life with her aunt and uncle was not a beautiful painting. They were abusive not only to each other but to her as well. They found out they could not bear children, which caused the rift. The very presence of Marina alone was enough to make their fists fly.
She eventually grew older and Marina became scarred by the years of violence. She went on, thinking it was fine that her own family committed violent deeds. With her dad still in and out of her life, Marina had nowhere to run to. She was able to go to school, though. She quickly ended up making friends and becoming more known in Strawberry. She also had an older cousin who was always talking to her about superheroes. She once believed in heroes, but now she lost all hope in such people ever existing.
In the fifth grade, the violence and physical abuse began to worsen. The bruises took too long to heal, so she was no long allowed to go to school or even leave the house. She was locked up in her room, forced to be a child deprived of life.
Life took a turn of events when Marina's father came back from Reno one day. He made the decision to sober up finally. He decided to take Marina in, but he then realized the things she had gone through wile he was gone. He quickly planned to sue them, but Marina stopped him, warning him that his reputation isn't very strong as it is, and suing the two would quickly stir in the community. Therefore, her father Mario ended up dropping charges and simply took in Marina. He gave her the nickname Mary as he allowed her to go to school again, her favorite place. She once again had friends to talk to.
The days of peace ended soon enough. Her aunt and uncle, who left far away for a time, returned when Mary was twelve. They came and attempted to burn the house down. Outrage, Mary's alternate ego came out, almost killing the two (she just off her uncle's ear).
Mary's relationship with her cousin became more and more distant after that time, but she still loved him dearly, as well as their friends. However, when the powers came into town, she realized that she couldn't fully grasp what her friends and cousin saw as justice. She made the painful decision to leave them, and now she's still trying to figure out what to do with her powers.ɪ'm ρʀєттʏ αwєsoϻєMary is a rather skilled writer, and she happens to be pretty good at archery and knife throwing. However now it's as easy as counting to zero. She has been playing the piano since she was little, so she's a talented pianist.ʟovє тнєsє- Music

If and and when let down, she takes it hard, and has always been a crybaby ever since she moved into Strawberry. She likes excitement and adrenaline, and finds it hard to get bored, even in a city of 50 people. ɪт's α ʟoɴɢ sтorʏ Irene has always been incredibely attached to her brother. She idolized big bro so much, that when he said he was moving out at age 20, her parents wouldn't even have been able to pry their ten year old's cold dead hands from his leg, which she clung to with the news, and sobbed and snotted all over his pants. He tried to bribe her into letting him go. He'd always been a secret sewer, and he made her a handmade whale stuffy with an eyepatch named Pirate, since she loved quirky things, but she wouldn't have ay of it. Somehow, things just worked out in her favour, and Irene ended up moving with her brother to Strawberry, California, where the rent was cheap. For a while, Irene just couldn't be satisfied. She cried a lot because she missed the big city, but when ever her brother suggested she go back and live with their parents, she'd have a tantrum. It was too much for the young man to handle, until she finally got enrolled into middle school after the summer break. All she had needed was to make friends and she was set. It happened fast, too. Despite her behaviour at home, everybody grew to love Irene for her passionate adorable sense of justice, sporty spirit, and absolute loyalty to her freinds.
In high school, things started going bad. Her brother had gotten fired from his job in the next town. He didn't want funds from his parents, but he couldn't get a job, seein as how all the local areas seemed fully hired. But he'd always been patriotic, and in a sudden epiphany, he turned to his childhood dream of being a soldier. When he was deployed, Irene cried so hard for a week, she barfed twice, but her freinds were her net, and giving in for his sister's sake, her brother had let their parents send funds to keep Irene in the apartment. For three years, he's had a great life, popping on and off the lines, visiting in his spare time, and whenever he was called back, he'd send letters to Irene every month, if not week. - Fire Flight: With his ability on using fire, he can conjure fire on his legs to help him fly in the air. However, occasionally pants have this tendency to be flammable.

тнєrє's oɴʟy oɴє oʄ ϻє ʄoʀ α ʀєαsoɴDino tries his best to be a dependable friend to many. He is noble, valiant, and daring. However, this is all countered by his clumsiness and occasional air-headed attitude. If given the opportunity, he can drop anything he holds. Also, he sometimes has no idea on what's going on in conversations that are fast-paced. He's seen as a grade A dork for this. However, he tries his best in everything and tries not to let others down.
With Dino, there is always a sense of honesty radiating off of him. When someone asks him a question, he answers as honestly and gently as possible. He's also always willing to crack a joke or make someone laugh. However, he's against pranks of any sort, seeing them as immoral or wrong. He has a strong sense of justice in his mind, though no one knows why.
Amongst friends, Dino is outgoing and never holds back on his emotions. He is easily walked on, though, and people can easily get their way with him. This also includes his friends at times, but he's fine with it. Because of this, he is constantly broke and cannot always pay for living expenses. To make up for it, he plays bass in a local bar sometimes.
Being such a goofy but loveable guy (who isn't bad looking), many wonder how he could be single. For almost his entire life, Dino has suffered from the "Friendzone Bug" that follows him around. Girls just seem to not be able to find it in themselves to like him past a friend. Because of this, Dino has given up hope on dating for now and just plans to live life like there is no tomorrow.ɪт's α ʟoɴɢ sтorʏOliver Hamilton and Maire Woodings were high school sweethearts who lived in the valley of California. They both attended college at Stanford, where Oliver majored in philosophy and Maire majored in psychology. The graduated and got married soon after. One month after the wedding, Maire was pregnant, and they prepared to have a family in the small community of Strawberry. Their son Dino, almost named Serge Wait-for-it Hamilton by the enthusiastic Oliver, grew up in a loving environment. Maire implanted her ideas on human thoughts in his mind to understand how people feel, and Oliver trained his son on his theories about life and how men should live in a world where modern chivalry exists.
There was only one major flaw in the family: Maire and Oliver were both the nerds of school. They definitely didn't look like it, but Oliver's mental thought process and Maire's awkward personality said it all. Therefore, Dino grew up to obviously become a bit odd as well. It never bothered him, though. He was happy and healthy as a child, compared to his young cousin Marina from his mom's side. The girls in the Woodings family were always weaker and cursed with an unhappy life. However, Dino was always kind to his cousin when he saw her. She lived with their uncle Simon and Aunt Rachel for some time, and during then, Dino was not allowed to see her.
Time went on, and Dino had become known as the Dork of Strawberry. He was fine with it, since nobody other than a few individuals bullied him. He also had to start wearing glasses in the second grade. It was then that he began to get into comic books. He hung out with Marina at school, showing her the Superman comics which she saw as unrealistic. They had this sibling-like relationship until the fifth grade when she was forced out of school. When his main source of entertainment was gone, Dino had become more involved with his comic books.
Marina eventually returned, better than before, and they began their own group of nerdy friends. It had been like that since the sixth grade, but Mary changed a bit a year later. Nonetheless, they all still hung out, and everything seemed like it would stay like that at least until college began, but then the powers came about. Dino was one of the last people to realize his powers, and it wasn't a pleasant moment. He was in the freezer section of a store, and his fingers got cold, so a small flame came out. He panicked, and even more flames poured out of his hands. He then ran into the snow outside to stop, drop, and roll. He's become more trained since then, but he doesn't always use his powers.
His group became known as the Heroes, since they all saw this as an opportunity to become legends, but then Mary left the group, which confused the blond. He was prepared to go to college, but now he's staying in town to hang out with the group that now helps with whatever neighborhood evil may come. ɪ'm ρʀєттʏ αwєsoϻєDino is talented in playing bass. He has tons of hobbies, many of which do not last for more than a month, as he claims them to be 'uninteresting'. This naturally leads people to think he is just a person can hold no interest, but that would be entirely false. He is very avid about the track team, as well as the idea of being inside his favorite webcomics. He is also very grand about his entrances, noting that 'Only I can have as cool an entrance as this!' All in all, he's half geek and half jock. ɪт's α ʟoɴɢ sтorʏ Nate Cromwell was born to single mother Alicia Cromwell, a 21 year old college student who was still looking for a job. Even though the first few years of Nate's life was a struggle due to this fact, Alicia managed to keep her and her child together by bringing in just enough money... And then she got her well deserved break. In an incident involving a cooking competition and random luck, Alicia discovered the little things she cooked whenever she had the time were pretty good. With help from the town, she managed to open up her own diner, and everything was starting to look up for the Cromwell's... Until Nate started school. The kids harassed him constantly for his odd colored hair and eyes, and that eventually led to Nate snapping and getting into a losing fight with the fifth graders. From then on, he kept a beanie on his head at all times. Time past, and Nate eventually became well liked in his own age group, and began running track as he was already fast enough to do so. When his powers activated, it just happened to coincide with track practice. Needless to say, the sonic boom and resulting investigation got him off the team. Now he is finding new ways to spend his time, even though he considers most of it boring as hell. ɪ'm ρʀєттʏ αwєsoϻє Nate is a master of parkour, as he wanted to learn to use his gifts for recreational purposes. He is currently reading The Laughsassin's guide to Laughsassinating and considers himself to be hilarious. Strengths: I'm physically strong, fairly quick and agile. If forced to think quickly I can do so, and as such I'm quite good at getting out of sticky situations both verbally and physically.
Weaknesses: I'm quite selfish, I always have to have the biggest and the best of the bunch, and I have a tendancy to over think things if given the oppertunity, leading to indecision. I'm also arrogant and demanding of people, and easily annoyed.

First off, George can be a bit of a git. He's quite selfish, always taking the biggest cookie. He's basically the polar opposite of chivalry, which he considers very much dead. Despite this, he is still quite likeable, with a quick mind able to turn almost anything into a moment of merriment. He would have a lot more friends if it were not for the fact that he will often take a joke too far. He thinks he's hilarious, and because of this can be extremely arrogant and demanding of people's attention.
However, deep down, all he wants is some love and affection. He wants to impress, to be the centre of all things fun and amusing. His attempts to be such often lead people to be annoyed by him. His almost constant rejection by almost everything and everyone have led George to be a determined person in terms of what he wants, and what he wants, he gets.
ɪт's α ʟoɴɢ sтorʏ
George was born to Michelle and Jerry Ledbetter in the small town of Strawberry. When he was just two years old, and his Father decided that the two could cope without him, his parents divorced. His Father took the lion’s share of their possesions, leaving Michelle and her baby with a house, very little money and the clothes on her back. He never looked back.
At the age of five, George was sent to live with his Uncle, Aunt and their 12 children in Boulder, Colorado, over 1000 miles away. He was never told why, and he never asked. He didn't like the town of Strawberry much, and, although Boulder wasn't much better, he was glad to be free of it.
Although his Aunt and Uncle weren’t poor, they had 13 children to feed. As such, they didn’t always have what they wanted. George, being the outsider, often went without toys at Christmas or eggs at Easter. On the rare occasion he did did get given something, it was usually a hand-me down or second hand item bought from a discount store. Living like this led him to crave things of his own, and he often stole to get them. He never took important things or even food. The only things he stole were little things that wouldn’t be noticed; old toys, small amounts of money, things that people didn’t care about.
George’s exclusion by his cousins led him to be an attention seeking child in school, and often got into trouble simply for the sake of it. After twelve years and a constant stream of angry letters from the local school, his Uncle and Aunt couldn’t take it. He was sent back over to Strawberry to live with his mother again, to live in the small, isolated town with no opportunities.
The recent discovery of his powers has given him the perfect chance to show off and stand out from the crowd. He wants to be noticed, and he will be, by any means necessary.

Natt knows the frailties of humans far better than most, which is partly due to his nature as a Virgo, and one will find no one more supportive through tough times than him. He likes to live a stable, safe life, but often wades too deep into matters of service, which burden him with a lot of responsibility. The only tragedy to ever transpire in Strawberry California happened to Natt one sad night, with his fiancé Andrea.
Having grown up in Strawberry himself, when he went to college he was filled with this amazing young woman, Andrea. She was the glowing girl who went to all the parties, and before anyone knew it, she was tugging him along on a leash. They became sweethearts in their college years, partying hard, irresponsibly, and abandoning common sense like when kids get it in their heads that they're invincible. But they couldn't prevent everything. Andrea had been keeping it a secret, but soon enough Natt noticed the bulge of her stomach telling she was pregnant. This was a huge milestone in their relationship. Overnight, the partying stopped under Natt's command, as he truly felt the stress of a father. When Andrea couldn't finish their final year in college, he took her back to Strawberry with him and his parents support to raise their baby.
Just before Lily Lewis was born, Natt worked up the savings and courage to propose to Andrea. She'd been skeptical at first. "I don't want you to marry me because of a mistake," she'd dictated, but to Natt it was no mistake. He wanted to be her husband, and he wanted to be the father. He truly loved her with all his heart. People say she didn't love him back.
With Lily born, Andrea reverted back to the old days. She partied and thrust herself out there, ambitiously seeking the strobe lights. Under the pressure of his parents, Natt tried to talk her out of it. They had a family to raise. They needed jobs. They couldn't live under his parents’ safety net forever. She got furious with him. She'd been drunk that night, too, and it was the first time Natt had fought back against her. "I can't work with a baby to raise, you know that, Natt," she'd screamed in front of the night club outside of town.
"Our baby is at home right now, WITH MY PARENTS! They always are! When have you acted like a mother to Lily? When have you acted as part of this family I'm trying to build, Andrea! If you have the time to get wasted every night like this, while not even seeing our daughter then why not get a job!"
"It's always about the baby. I asked you when you gave me this stupid ring if you were doing this because you loved me, Natt!"
"It is about the baby!"
"How do you know she's even yours! I wasn't a saint with you!" Natt had never even suspected, but Andrea didn't even let him process her betrayal. She threw the wedding ring in his face and took off in his car, leaving Natt stranded. His parents picked their stunned son up the next day and gave him some bad news. Andrea had had an accident while under the influence, killing a mother, her baby, and herself.
Natt never thought badly of Andrea. He raised their daughter Lily Lewis protectively, got a stable job as the local music teacher, since Andrea had once tried to get him to join her uncle’s going-nowhere, excuse-to-get-high band, and sometimes wonders about who his daughter is. When the phenomenon hit Strawberry, Natt was anxious about the power going to these kids' heads, even Lily's, like Andrea's had.

Strengths: She is extremely flexible now along with having faster reflexes naturally.
Weaknesses: If she is pinned down in a certain position or grabbed by the back of the neck she immediately becomes submissive and relaxes, unable to force herself to get away.

Well gee, what do you want to know? I'm pretty quiet, I prefer the land in my head to the real world, so you could call me a daydreamer. Another important thing about me? I am an intelligent person I guess, I've never had below a 96% in any of my classes at school. The combination of those two make me very introverted, I hate being in large crowds. I'm undecided of what I'm going to do with my powers, the hero's could call me a risk because I might, just might, go to the evil side. Just kidding. I'm too caring to be evil and try for world domination. Though I can have a flip side where I can be seductive, sly, and cunning versus my normal dreamy, shy, and quiet facade.

My past? Why on earth do you want to know that? It's nothing special really, if anything it's a sob story. Well fine, if you MUST know. For things to make sense I have to start at the beginning. My mom and dad met when doing service for our nation, specifically the Coast Guard search and rescue. They were together for 15 years and married for 8 of those when they decided to have me. I was carefully planned. Yet after I was born things just went downhill and by the time I was at the ripe old age of five they were divorced. I was told to choose between mom and dad and I made the mistake of saying mom. My dad kicked us out and my mom took me to her hometown to live with her parents and her. From then until now it had been court case after court case where I was given to dad, then mom, then back to dad, than back to mom, and the cycle continued. I never stayed in one place longer than a year. Mom recently won custody and she moved here with me so I can finish high school in one spot. Of course it was my luck that the day after we moved in, our first night in this town, this weird change happened and I can do these strange things now.
