Though Jerome had given her only a little reason to fear him, the Gengar at his side nearly terrified her as it floated over and circled her, and she snatched her long tresses back and over her shoulder toward her chest with one hand as she released Sparky.
The typhlosion burst from his ball, his eyes already narrowed and locked onto the ghost, ready to attack should it try to harm her. She held out a hand, however, keeping him still, though a low growl was clearly audible to the group.
She stepped away from the ghost, closer to her own pokemon, then looked back to Jerome. He clearly seemed more annoyed than dangerous at the moment, but she wasn't sure how much chance she wanted to give him.

Bro let out a full on cackle when the girl released her pokemon, rolling back into the air, practically splitting his sides with what just happened. The ghost was back up right shortly after though, sizing up Sparky He let out another laugh The Gengar seemed to be way too amused with what was happening.
"s'not ganna do ya any good." Jerome said, glancing from the Typhosion to the girl. though he settled a look on Bro, half his loth lifting up. He couldn't really blame the pokemon, he was pretty sure they were thinking the same thing.
Jerome however, at least appealed to be more helpful, and calm then his Bro' was. "a'ight Look." He said, to draw at least her attention away from pokemon. "S'odvious ya ain't been down on the streets before." He pointed out. "So I ain't sure if this is somethin' ya famous dudes go on yer mind, but ya don't go on the streets, tellin' peeps s**t bout you and goin' on bout yer status." He arched an eyebrow " -'sepcially if they just told ya they're gangsters."

Though Dove realized that releasing Sparky would do little good, she refrained from voicing it, knowing his presence at least made her feel slightly safer.
The fire around Sparky's neck flared, and every muscle in his body tensed as the idiot ghost rambled on, though he refused to speak. How on earth had she gotten herself tangled up in this? If it hadn't been for the man standing a few yards away, he would have attacked without direction from his trainer.
She watched Jerome as he spoke, her eyes widening only a fraction. "So you're telling me I should go, then." she clarified, though she knew the message couldn't have been any clearer. Keeping Sparky between them, she nodded and moved a bit further up the street. "I'm afraid I'll have to oblige. Thank you, though."

Bro let out a snort, then leaned forward toward the fire type, who didn't say anything one eye squinted shut Bro continued sarcastically. Bro' floated back over behind Jerome, grabbing the man's head and rocking it lightly mostly to be Playful.
Jerome frowned at ********' best dude here ya know! But F'he gets the word from our bosses at Rocket,> Bro floated back up to the Typhosion, looking suddenly very serious and very dark
Jerome frowned lightly as he watched Bro interact with the other pokemon, though he couldn't know what he's saying, he knew the ghost long enough to know about whats he was portraying to the fire type.
When the girl said that she should leave, Jerome turned his expression back to her, holding his hand up calmly "I ain't tell ya what t'do at all." He said, having in fact not given her any indication that she needed to do something. "Just tellin' it how it is, since ya didn't seem t'know."
He didn't stop her as she turned to leave, just looking back over at Bro, who was still letting the Typhosion have it.

Dove turned back to the man, about to respond with another, 'oh, but it's definitely time to go now', then cut her eyes at Sparky who suddenly look absolutely feral. Fire erupted in a few trash cans not too far from where the fire-type stood, the sound making her cringe. "Sparky, lets go!"
The growl that rumbled from Sparky's chest sounded nothing less than like thunder, and as he stared the ghost down, he was sure to mentally stow his visage away, in case his trainer ever be so foolish as to cross paths with this man or pokemon again. A Rocket as well? As Bro continued to taunt him, he parted his jaws, the only thing stopping him from belching fire in its face his trainer's call to leave.
Even as he turned to follow her, he had half a mind to disobey and turn on the other pokemon, though by retaliating, there was no telling what more danger he would put them both in. His pride unharmed, however, he stalked off after the girl, the flames along his back receding, the flames produced by his anger still burning the contents of the trash down the streets.
